they're pretty similar, their missiles are similar but F4E's are slightly better, F4E also has an internal gun so you don't need the gunpod so your plane is faster, climbs better, and turns better but the F4E's internal M61 vulcan gun is pretty bad, its got a lot of spread so while you have a gun that has 6k rpm, only like 20% of your shots will hit the target. Gunpod on the F4J is somehow more accurate. F4E also shoots 4 flares at once and has 90 flares max so that's a plus. F4E is the faster plane with combat load and has slightly better turnrate but the gun... if your good at tolerating with the vulcan or if your planning on missile spamming all your kills, F4E's the better plane. if you plan on actually getting some gun kills as well as missile kills, you'll have more luck in the F4J

Depends. F4E is better for dogfighting while F-4J is good for sniping
