I switch between succ and awake for 2 years and FINALLY a awakening PVE guide from someone i can trust! my skill rotation/combo was not anywhere close to this.
I have been really looking forward to getting into awakening tamer myself. I have noticed that a few things have changed since this video was made (example Absolute:Flash and Absolute:Flash Pole Thrust have crit hit rate now where they didn't when this guide was made). Would you consider making an updated guide at some point or is everything largely the same still?
Ive thought about making another simpler guide but the only things that have really changed are that you use garuda for spam with ascension, spinner does good dmg, jolt stab is usable now and lbd is still fine in place of garuda

What do you think about succession versus awakening in PvE? When succession first released, I went with it since it had significantly better damage and sustain/block, when compared with awakening at the time.
Succession is still better basically everywhere. The only things it lacks in pve is long range mobility. Imo side eva is one of the best pve movement abilities in the game so it makes up for the lack of fg that awake can have. Awakening is closer to where succ is nowadays but not quite there
I like to dive in with ww, BJ>shift+Q to 360 debuff whole pack, side scratch to reposition, Q+Gaoler. If I know for sure everything will back atk, I will also squeeze in S+LMB for the -15 Magic DP between side scratch and Q. Thanks for the vid.

it would be really nice to have a Rotation vid with the inputs and also add ons to keep yourself buffed at all times. I'm kind of struggling with finding or coming up with a rotation. or i might just be stupid. i get that its a difficult class to work with but that all that makes it even more fun. Having a difficult class and molding into your muscle memory to be less complex. i know you explained alot but im more of a i need to learn a strict rotation to then hone the rotation into my own depending on the situation.
Thing is there isnt a specific combo you use i could go the viewbot route and make the so called "infinite combo" but at that point it actually complicates things bc then you have to look at cd's. My guide is just for an overview really but my other videos are a good way to learn what a pve combo should look like. In general tho, tamer is one of those classes that has a decent amount of skills to cycle but you can throw them out then wait on the cds with garuda spam (lbd is outdated slightly) in terms of addons, theyre spot specific but i do have one i use the most that is in my recent videos with a lot of wiggle room if you want something a bit different in there
@@Chaytona yea its understandable, i just really love Tamer i wouldn't want to change for anything. i have a lot of characters but I've never been as attached, so i made i t my main. i really cant find any rotations for anything not even for super armor. I made one but like i said I'm the type of person that likes to look at other things and see if a single skill change makes a big diff or is better then what I come up with, but the love for Tamers is but a handful.
@@nesupr3532 at least from a pve standpoint there is no way to really have a truely viable rotation that is fully protected so it just comes down to the spam skills and other unprotected skills that do the most dmg
the instances skills doesnt have coldodowns? so you can basically keep alternating between turtle and tiger and so on? also at pvp duels, tiger should be the best option isnt it? since despite the aoe lack it has more dps in comparison to turtle
Pvp is completely different. Both skybound stab and lbd have no damage falloff when on cooldown so they are spammable. With the most recent pve buffs skybound stab is a better option to spam over lbd i suggest looking at my recent videos where i explain that
I got a question, does heilang do absolutely 0 damage? It seems like on the tooltip of some skills he has some (heilang effect) but i have no idea wtf it means and it seems like it does nothing Also, i didn't notice this yet but do tamers still have a higher aggro limit of 13 or 14 instead of 10? and if so do I need to have the dog out for that? Heilang seems to have some sort of accuracy scaling issue bc you can damage very low end mobs but not midgame to endgame so yeah he makes no difference in grinding really past absorb buff. I think they took out the +aggro feature on heilang but im not sure it mightve been a nerf to two?

the general idea for one just involves rotating moonlight,full moon, soaring, LBDE and gaoler. everything else in between should be LBD turtle and garuda or if you dont need aoe you can do LBD tiger/turtle instead
Every spot succ will be better might be one or two exceptions dependent on mainly mobility and instant cast dmg with tungrad and jade. Succ overall has better damage and aoe the only thing awake has over succ is movement but that only goes so far. Succ does have an easier time at all endgame spot imo
so i have done some calculations on the dps of skills and gaoler is the highest damage (lbd echo dragon is the 2nd highest). Celestrial slam+beastrampage+intimidation have the lowest dps, but allround spinner is very close to those skills aswell. if you can avoid it, use lbd turtle/tiger instead. interestingly cloud stomping is also one of the hardest hitting skills in the kit, if you can mouse move it to get 100% backattacks, its very very strong (stronger than turtle/tiger and even full moon). so pretty much everything you said seems to be true if you do the math. so probably something like: moonlight strike > full moon > garuda > ascension > cloud stomping > soaring strike > jolt stab (? gaoler cancel) > gaoler > intimidation (for quick addons from beast rampage and swap back to awa) > lbd turtle > full moon > lbd echo turtle > echo pierce (cancel) > lbd tiger > turtle > cloud stomping > tiger > turtle > full moon > lbd echo turtle > soaring strike > garuda > ascension > bolt > gaoler > .... what ya think?
Ascension isnt the greatest damage ever and lbd is higher also spinner is very close to the dps of lbd from what tests ive done also im not sure if cloud stomping is as high of damage as you think from what ive tested its one of the lowest hitting skills
Also the reason I wouldnt use jolt stab in a combo is due to the 50% crit rate you can use it but it ultimately has lower damage than most of the kit due to it

is she high apm? im 273 pa kutum 325 dp, o quit my hashashin cause he was taking too much dmg sycraia and his damage skills are all standing still unprotrcted
Shes definitely not the lowest but i cant vouch for it being high just bc of me not playing other classes. Also, not sure if you have the infinite potion but your dp is low for sycraia start at 331 and remember, if you kill faster you will survive better too so right now i would run some crystals for survivabilty like adamantines and hooms. Being unprotected is not a big deal if you clear fast but at your ap it's probably really risky
I should also mention the good damage in awakes kit is unprotected so if you cant survive there on hash you probably wont be able too much easier on tamer
@@Chaytona yea man i messed up, i should ve understood that i was taking too much damage due my low dp plus hashashin its a assasin typ class wich makes him really squishy, i rerolled at the most mistaken way using the coupon of exchanging combat and skill experience, plus the class weapon coupon exchange. The damage was kinda ok, i just got frustrated by taking hits reducing my HP to like 30%, and there wasnt much i could do because the most damage skills from hasha awak are standatory (SHIFT LMB SHIFT RMB) wich makes things even harder to avoid getting hited by the mobs... but you were right, i didnt test running more defensives artifacts or crystals before rerolling 🤦♂️ do you know if there is another coupon like that on sale? this one i got for free by loguin reward, plus i might need weapons coupon exchange aswell

What would you consider to be mid game and late game? Maybe its a stupid question, but i just havent played in so long that im not sure which one my tamer is in lol i think its lvl 57 or 58 maybe? and i was farming some military camp back then for exp
Midgame is places like all of serendia elvia, upper gyfin, jade, turos, sycraia, etc. endgame is places like crypt, oluns, hexe, trolls. midgame is going to be comfortable at like 269+ ap up to 293+ imo then you can start getting into endgame content

Np succession is almost always the choice bc of its ease compared to awake its aoe is better, they both have comparable damage but awake only does better in a couple niche midgame spots bc of movement
Depends on what gear you are but in general you want to alternate full moon and lbde every other pack while using lbd and garuda for filler with soaring, moonlight, and gaoler in between just look at my other videos if you want specifics itll be either in the description or comments
Kinda just depends on the spot and combo u use also its going to be a lot easier to set them up with this addon change incoming making every add-on t3 for pve

I tagged tamer to my main ninja for some awa fun.. and i am now at gyfin realising that i just need to swap between tiger and turtle only to litellary oneshot these packs lol :D its fun and mindblowing at some point lol but ya awa with 317ap its instant endgame
Np, i will say that i plan on making a new one in the near future just bc the recent pve buffs changed added a few priority skills and swapped spam dmg from lbd to garuda
addons depend on the spot and combo so i got those in my videos but the general idea is to have as much uptime as possible on t3 attack speed and t2 as well as the typical debuffs
Keep it up you are the only one we can watch for pve… few tamers are still playing lol

A few things, lbd can be used but to get the most out of lbde dragon u use garuda instead for filler. Spinner is good dmg now too

Ive played tamer for years it def feels way better than it did a few years ago. Im pulling decent trash within 10% of meta classes

Thats definitely something i need to check on though aggro additional aggro limit is kinda huge but either way having heilang out doesnt hurt

I failed to mention it fully but if u hold lmb after fullmoon or celestial slam you get 10 sec 15% acc buff

Beast rampage is currently one of the lowest damage skills in the kit similar damage to cloud stomp, a lot of preawake skills have more damage

It isn't, but if you cab compensate for the aoe loss and put in more effort you can keep up in most spot due to the damage being similar

Np succession is almost always the choice bc of its ease compared to awake its aoe is better, they both have comparable damage but awake only does better in a couple niche midgame spots bc of movement

Ever since reworks heilang has done no damage and pa hasnt patched the bug the only use for him rn is the absorb buff

Depends on what gear you are but in general you want to alternate full moon and lbde every other pack while using lbd and garuda for filler with soaring, moonlight, and gaoler in between just look at my other videos if you want specifics itll be either in the description or comments

thx for that guide. i know its 6 months old but glad i found it. I tagged tamer to my main ninja for some awa fun.. and i am now at gyfin realising that i just need to swap between tiger and turtle only to litellary oneshot these packs lol :D its fun and mindblowing at some point lol but ya awa with 317ap its instant endgame
Np, i will say that i plan on making a new one in the near future just bc the recent pve buffs changed added a few priority skills and swapped spam dmg from lbd to garuda

You missed the addons
addons depend on the spot and combo so i got those in my videos but the general idea is to have as much uptime as possible on t3 attack speed and t2 as well as the typical debuffs
Kit Overview basically sounds like "all your skills are trash, dont use any of them except maybe LBD"
