Raymond was a good man,those were the good days when i grew up on Federal Hill,it was the best.

I was born there in 57. Anybody remember Ollie's omelets? The store that opened up on Federal hill that refused to pay protection money and kept getting their windows busted
I remember Ollies! Had Laureal and Hardy on the signs! Right on the corner! Both my parents were born there and I have family that still live there.

My grandfather Joseph marcotrigino was part of the mob then he had heart attack and died in 1992
I used to go to RI to visit my cousins.I took a friend to a club in Providence.My friend asked why we drove 100 miles to get there.We sat up on the mezzanine drinking.A guy came in with 2 friends to collect rent from the club.The people parted like the Red Sea.The Man wore a very expensive Milan cut silk suit.His friends wore similar suits. The Man came up to the mezzanine with 1 friend. 1 stayed at the bottom of the stairs.He and the owner go into a room and shut the door.Friend of the Man and friend of owner block the door.A few minutes later,The Man and his friends leave.Thats why I come here.Nothing will happen to my car, Nothing will happen here.Its protected by criminals.

I spent a lot of time on Federal Hill and work at the Italian American club Ion Federal Hill In the mid to late 80s it was so cool the light poles the fire hydrant many things were painted the color of the Italian flag that is until the Puerto Rican moved in and clean racism

Her nephew Brad Violet was a providence cop who sold drugs, robbed drug dealers and who she prosecuted on many occasions until he was fired. Why don’t she mention this? 🙄

Ray was a great man. My Mom and her 5 sisters parents both passed when they were very young. Ray paid their rent for many years and watched over them. I met Ray multiple times when I was a boy and have a lot of respect for him. RIP Ray.
My uncle Freddie Fabbiano aka 'Coco Puffs' used to 'throw quarters' w' Ray Pat as kids, oh the stories he told me..

It always amazes me how America glorifies a particular ethnic group of people (immigrants, legal and illegal) for the crimes they committed against the country and the community. And are awarded in Hollywood with movies etc…but if you dare to extend the same grace and reverence for a ‘different’ ethnic group who are not immigrants, were in America for at least 2-3 generation before these criminals even stepped foot here and some how some way, they are glorified for their acts and celebrated for their crimes.

Raymond, in front of the house Select Committee, refers to the government and what's really going on in our country... that he would love to tell us and "Lay the Law down".... I wish that he did. He could've shed light upon what led up to our current corrupt and dangerous political situation - even within the current global spectrum. So he says he was "hoodwinked" by our government; used and then cast away as the scapegoat.
Yea, he may be right on viz his assessment of the corrupt govt but that accurate assessment does not diminish the fact that he is an immoral, lying, thieving mother fucker.

@@heartofgoldfilmandtheatre I never met him, but I know people who have, and yes, he was a nice guy to his friends, and his guys who protected him, killed for him and BROUGHT MONEY to him! But, let's face it, everything he had was gained through lying, stealing, extorting hard-working innocent people, and MURDER! I grew up near his office and , well, I'm not getting into that! Let's just say, I knew many associates from the bars I hung out in, my friends, my friends fathers, brothers, cousins, uncles etc. and they were always good to me, never had a problem!
