But what about gear upgrading resources? I’m afraid I can’t kill some roaming monsters or DOD bosses with 4 lvl between me and my gear😅
Should I buy recourses for crystals or go slowly after I will open this gate? Or with upgraded heroes I will have nothing to fear?)

You get some from the various towers but it seems DoD and roaming monsters are the best way to farm them

I was planning to sit at the 66 max gate for a long time... at least until I had the DSTells & DSVols to rank up my equipment to 67.
Maybe even until AbyMist so I could max star Doceo.

What other heroes did you bump up (besides Logan and Urmas that you did first)? I’m sitting at the second gate and was waffling on who to level next (I also went Logan and Urmas first). I finally went ahead and ranked up Krita and Alder because I use the Krita/Alder/Valiant/mage charms for my PvP and it’s been useless since about hitting level 63. Not sure that was wise though. Going into lvl 60 I remember prioritizing Millicent, Herne, and Ayako for DoD. But DoD has been fairly manageable so far and arena is kicking my butt so… 🤷‍♂️

I did krita and garron for guild bosses mainly
Krita is proficient enough for the arena, and for the fifth I'm going to do millicent for DoD
The problem with levelling off class heroes for PVP is you will have to use unlevelled side build armour and that is far from ideal for guild wars

⁠I too was trying to level alder for my mage build. Good thing I saw this and stopped at lvl 55. I’m using urmas/erin for pvp right since I have a warrior build. Is it better to take Erin past 60 to be more competitive in arena? Or just focus on leveling krita and another warrior past 60 for pve/dod

I’m not a huge PvP person, so I would have chosen one of those utility heroes I mentioned if DOD was giving me trouble. I haven’t regretted leveling Alder; my mage side build armor is still all at 60, but it’s enough to be as successful in the arena as I was previously. If I don’t make the second round kill then I’m almost certainly toast, but I rarely survived if that happened before so… 🤷

Be selective with which heroes you rank up and keep working on your rift power
Try to farm gold scrolls to distill and make sure you buy the drops of Serenity in the expert rift shops if you can
