Funfact: in the games Dedede is friends with Kirby; he started as enemies with Kirby but as the games progress he became friends with Kirby. Stark contrast to how he is the anime.
I like to think he's still got some rivalry though. He's no longer an enemy, but on a casual day he'd still love nothing more than to beat Kirby.
