Sorry, I dont keep up on all of the IDPA rules. What I looked up after reading your question said nothing about slide cuts being a non legal modification. I also read factory installed comps are legal. That sounds really cool! I would get a second opinion before making any slide cuts, just to be sure.
Both guns are very accurate. Out of the box, the CZ has a way better trigger whereas the Tanfo needs a lot of polishing. I do like the Tanfo DA better because it has a shorter pull. The balance of the Stock 2 is better than the nose-heavy Shadow 2 and the hard chrome is very sexy.
that DA pull looks really smooth for a Tanfo!
The factory triggers are not great. It takes a few hours with a dremel to get them smoothed out.
