I previously purchased the Craft CTM ultra, that had an innovative and promising design on those days, but in practice the fit ( same too much volume) and ride was on the odd side..
Seemed like a shoe with huge potential, where the sum of it's parts is not greater than the whole. This could have been the breakthrough high performance shoe that Craft needs. They make very good products but sometimes a flaw here or there prevent them from having a standout shoe.
thank you for the review. i was really curious about this one. i really like craft as European brand. It is strange you can find their really good running clothes for a very low price, and you get a 300euro shoes it is not really understandable, maybe like Diodora, they do not make high volumes so they need to keep the high price to finance the research and development? Diadora with their gara carbon they did something similar (take best parts on the market and assemble) but the shoes is really good, at least it works great for me, i was hoping Craft would have done the same
I have normal width feet but I have been able to tighten the laces to adjust the slightly loosely fitting uppers of the two pairs of Craft shoes I have. I like a firmer midsole, so I am looking forward to trying these …when they’re on discount that is. No way I’ll pay €300 (or thereabouts) for a shoe that doesn’t fit like a glove. Still an interesting try but once again Craft misses the mark with their upper. Thank you for the review!

A sum of good parts doens't always equate to a great shoe! Thanks for your comment

The perfect shoe for most people already exists and it's already in your closet.

When I see that kind of heel, all I think about is horrible achilles blisters that come from any company that has ever tried that slim knit design.
I have a few Craft shoes.. Totally wrong sizing and loose upper and terrible fit even for my wide feet..
Not always wrong in terms of sizing but sometimes it's really off indeed.
Craft are taking the p1ss with that price! What on earth are they thinking 😡
Agreed
Always something with the upper with Craft shoes... Horrible fit.
There's a term among the industry and the running shoe reviewers that is not supposed to be said: Rip-off.
This shoe is a rip-off. Period.
The price 😢
Crazy expensive but also lots of expensive parts in this shoe...
