    While you start paying attention to the heat extraction 12:05 you might also figure out if you can do that in a way where you could have your miners in your basement in more compact way. There is several smaller rooms in your basement and you have some miners in all of them and your wife can't use the garage. You probably could make all your miners in one single room in that basement, if you just plan that cold/hot aisle thing. Do not allow the hot air to return back to the circulation, that leads to accumulating that hot air in everywhere of your basement, and the bigger area the heat gets accumulated, the harder it gets to get rid of all of that heat. It should be sort of a wind tunnel, where the other end is for heat extraction and that goes only outside from building, not back to building.

    Would love some content on your server rack, I’m currently setting up a home server closet with a bunch of rack goodies. Any and all suggestions/ recommendations for software/ hardware to include. Will be a whole home hub for everything.

    I seen your early vid of them cpu frames and i bought two. I have cpu and a gpu on each dual mining and they work well. If i put two gpu on each though, the inner one gets a fair bit warmer even with 120 fans pulling heat away. Room looks much tidier.

    maibe instead of a ups setup you could get some solar type batteries and a inverter / battery charger thats permanently hooked up to the normal grid in between the grid and youre mining farm , think there some available for solar systems that can be automated and work of the stock grid too
    think that kind of system should work better than a stock ups system as i doubt there systems available for the amound of power you need to keep things running and can be upgraded with more batterypacks so it can stay on longer and actualy catch/ eat/ store/ equalize powersurges and might even give you some extra capacity over youre stock grid for startup surges of say things like a single fuseload of mining farm equipment getting back online after remotely restoring power , could even do a generator with autostart from the inverter charger setup in a shed outside to have power for longer during a blackout (might need to be a pretty large diesel or natural gas generator actually to keep the lights on when everything is running )
    the batteries dont produce heat or are incredibly affected by it so you should be able to set that up in the server room where you still have a lot of space (the charger inverter system might be a different story)
    it might be wize to make some sort of fireproof / fire retardant room for the batteries just in case as the amount of stored energy released in a fire at the power rating youre going to need might resemble a nuclear meltdown chernobil style
    seen people make house batteries from used electric car units , theres tons of info on youtube and might end up being the cheapest alternative

    Hi RPM. I had GUI issues yesterday and this early morning with Jasminer. It has resolved on its own. Also I noticed while dual mining Zil and another Ethash coin using performance and ultra performance modes, the hash rate doesn’t go past 1950ms While using higher wattage. I don’t know if it’s just my X16 Q.

    • @RedPandaMining
      @RedPandaMining  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The x16qe does the same thing I found, it doesn't stick at performance or performance ultra well.

    • @K9sf
      @K9sf 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Was that while dual mining Zil? Perhaps the X16 on performance mode won’t go past 2500m while mining on Zil? I have noticed the hash rate will go to 2500m on Zil mining then back to 1950 regardless on balance, performance or ultra performance mode. As I wrote previously while using higher wattage. Ultra mode @ 700ish watts. Balance mode no problem.
      Cheers!

    Are you going to do AI on those? I converted all my RTX (6 3060 12 GB, 18 3070's) to AI. R5 5500/64GBRAM/3060 12GB/500GB storage is doing work right now. 3070's also do work. AI doesn't really benefit from more than 4 cores (currently) so it's kinda a waste of cpu mining on your big cpu's. R9 5900x = R5 5500 (r5 5500's are like 89$ and slap right into AM4 and have the 2MB+ per core L3 cache needed). I still have all 6700XT's on RVN, they are very efficient and still profitable.
