Hi, I have a question I'm hoping you can direct me. I want to learn how to lead Kabbalas Shabbos service as our shul doesn't really have anyone good and it's not easy for me to remember the nuances of the tunes. Is there a system you know of I can buy or someone affordable I can hire that can teach me how to mark up my siddur with notes so I can remember the ups and downs of how my voice should go (hope that makes sense) so that I don't have to remember all of it.
I really appreciate any advice you can give me.

Very nice. I live in Hamburg where there is a Joseph Carlebach platz, the jewish school is also after his name. He was born in Lubeck, close to Hamburg. The new Cantor here honors him by singing as much as he can in the Carlebach way.
If you pass by Hamburg, you are welcome and will for sure enjoy his performance

This is amazing! Thank you. I very much enjoyed it when you davened in my shul, El Ad in Modiin. Just one small comment, in Lecha Dodi, the word ובצהלה is pronounced uvtzOhOla and not uvtzhala (2 kamatz katans)

bhstone1 Actually it is correct. I go to a Carlebach Shabbat minyan twice per month.
Incorrect. I lived on the Carlebach Moshav in Israel where Shlomo himself lived and I learned it from the source.

Even though I may not understand Hebrew. I grew up on Doo Wop done in Accappella. Music is a language which needs no translation especially Accappella. You hear pure Harmony of which I enjoy. Shabbat Shalom.

לא מסכימה אתך ולא עם המגיבה שלפניך.
כבר אין לי כ"כ סבלנות לגישה הזו של "בואו נראה צד יפה שלנו", יאללה, אם הגויים רוצים הם יראו את מה שיש לנו לראות ויש המון המון יופי (מנסיון בקשרים עם גויים), מצד שני, מי אמר שלא היה ככה בימי המקדש ושלא לקחו מאיתנו עיבודים של שירת הלוויים? למה לייחס כל דבר יפה לכנסייה ולתרבות אחרת? שנזכה לבנות את המקדש בקרוב בימינו ולהשיב את כל התפארת הזו על כנה.
