i suggest you should use BESTLINE ENGINE LUBRICANT.... before you drain old oil....add a 100ml gasoline into the engine..then idle for a minute...then drain whole oil out(+ air Compressor nozzle).... after that...relax for 10 minutes for gasoline to dry......assembly all parts...then put the new oil....and ready to run...
That's one rough bike... The owner is obviously clueless and should fling his full toolkit in the river and take this to a KTM dealership. Oil has also been left to run low... That engine needs a total rebuild.....

Thats one tortured Duke! Revved Hard leading oil to burn in combustion chamber at the same time a decent amount of oil being pumped in the airfilter box through crankcase breather hose. You should have not redlined the bike beyond 7k rpm for a longrr duration. Fucked up whole engine. Lucky it didn't Seize!😷
I have the bajaj pulsar 200ns same engine as the ktm duke 200 (lower spec sohc engine and 0.2-3 lower compression ratio) i didn't have any problems with it revved hard till 10k rpm and it's still running like a charm (29k kilometres on it) regular oil and filter changes (3-4k km) and 5k regular tappet adjustment and checking. Single cylinder high powered engines are high on maintenance but its simple enough to work on
Okay I could never get anyone to answer me please are you able to make a video where your bike is in operation temp and you full throttle the bike just from 0-100 as fast as you can and see how fast the revs go up mine has an issue it has a bog in the middle and when I start it from cold it has issue and when I try to pull off from lights it’s too slow also this happens rarely but someone’s when the bike is idling for a while and I give it throttle the revs will keep going up and down and a fault comes up but then I shut the bike off and on and it’s fixed HELP ME PLEASEEE 😓

You said your brother did not change the oil regularly? me as a simple rider ussually just swapt the oil with the new one by monitoring the KM (Kilometers)/distant indicator... So my question is : what is the root cause of the lack of oil? is it because the raw material of KTM piston kit which becomes the problem ? or the lack of oil is pure cause from your brother did not change the oil at the KM (distant) recommendation?

my duke has made that same sound for over 1000km with no problems, getting kind of scared here since im not sure if its only the valves
