Thank you so much James ! There are nice pieces among those 7 ! The prière n5 is almost learnt, and the last marche seems very nice ( but will be quite demanding )
A lovely performance thankyou Remi. In 2011 I did an all Dubois recital. Years ago, in my youthful ignorance I tended to dismiss his music as being superficial and lightweight! In later years I revised my opinion realizing that Dubois’ compositions are most carefully written with great attention to detail. His meticulous phrasing, slurring, delicate staccatos and employment of rests, particularly in pedal parts remind one of the minute detail and delicate touches of colour in many French paintings of the period. True, most of Dubois’ compositions for strings, church, chamber ensembles and orchestra are not now heard partly because he was of the ‘classical’ French school which was superseded by later composers, however in his time he was greatly respected, being Professor of Harmony at the Paris Conservatoire from 1871-1890 then the Director from 1896-1905. He was also ‘maitre de chapelle’ firstly of Ste Clotilde, then later the Madeleine before replacing Saint-Saens as the organist.
I learnt a lot in reading your kind comment, I am still ignoring so much... I found this piece so nice I binge-learnt it in a week, and I'm afraid I mismade some of the details you mentionned. I'm glad you liked it anyway, and I'm so grateful for your comment, thank you very much Colin !
Yes Rémi, the suggestions you get between us organists is priceless. There is so much beautiful music out there and everyone's focus is different. All very inspiring. You played very well and the sample fits more than perfectly. Now I'm also motivated to take a closer look at these 7 pieces. Thanks a lot for (re-) sharing, Rémi.
J'ai vraiment apprécié vous écouter jouer ce Prélude de Dubois sur le dernier set d'échantillons Sweelinq, qui sonne magnifiquement - à la fois votre performance et l'orgue en vedette: bravo!
Thank you very much Graham ! I'm quite proud of this one, learnt in 7 days, I'm getting better, and I owe this to the emulation of our great community !
Excellent song and magnificent performance, I really liked Remi, congratulations and thanks for sharing your music- Greetings from Madrid and see you soon, like 7
When the thursday is over and the work is done, finally I get the music of my dearest friend here ;) Well played buddy!! And the sample set of the organ is great, too!! So soft and sweet ^.^

Thank you Rien ! I love more and more french romantic, I just created a playlist, and I owe you the first piece I played in it, with Louis Raffy's ave maria. Good evening Rien !
Well done. Tempo flows very nicely and you have it registered quite faithfully (unlike mine!). Thank you.

C'est toujours un plaisir d'entendre Rémi jouer de l'orgue.
