what we thinking about the new dio moveset? i think its cool in theory but needs some tweaks to be really good

@@GammaYT_ I honestly think it's unnecessary for Dio, it's the classic realm rampage doing unnecessary extra stuff to the moveset. Dio was perfect, but then they went and tried to make it over the top.
Think it’s alright has no extenders but you can downslam into all of the moves

These comments are annoying me so ima just say it, dios rework was made because characters like dio sjw and katakuri had the same type of combo extenders which were plain and boring so people asked for variety, and you CAN combo extend with dios siphon into space ripper your just holding it and doing it completely wrong (no hate just clarifying everything)
dios moveset was busted that why it was changed
there was an inf combo for it where you just cycled through 1,2, and 3 with a downslam in between all of them
it wasnt really skill and it was super annoying
unlike every other character all of dios moves were a combo extender (+ a combo starter counter and a long range unblockable projectile)

Vampiric Siphon, then catching them in the air with space ripper actually can combo extend.

Honestly the new DIO moveset doesn't really fix what reworks are actually supposed to do: make the character feel different to play. Your game plan is still entirely the same with the new DIO moves and the only big change is that zoning out with Space Ripper has become MORE powerful now that it fully charged deals about 20 or so damage.
Infact i'd say the new moveset is even LESS interesting to play as it removed one of my favorite neutral interactions with DIO: Knife Throw which, if used smartly could be used to cancel enemy moves at basically no cost. It just feels more dumbed down as his 4 is just a reskinned Sukuna move and his 3 just serves the same purpose as Stand Beatdown (i forgot what the move was called) without combo extending.
Edit: And also leaving the ult completely untouched is, really stupid. DIO already has one of the worst awakenings in the game which entirely relies on TimeStop for a one-shot combo, otherwise you have barely any mobility, range or i-frames to deal with people which is just frustrating when Katakuri, Shadow Monarch and Madara have ults that can reliably kill without relying on their ultimate move.
i think your just bad dio awakening is so good you definitely don’t need to use his time stop to get reliable kills and your definitely right about his new mastery i think it was a waste of an update we could have gotten something so much more interesting
Agreed . Simply , he is garou of this game. Good base moves which require skill to tie together and a bad ult which also requires skill to tie together .

It's more of a redesign than a rework. The only thing that was truly changed was the removal of knife throw(nobodys using that anyway). Judgment functions the exact same as Stand Beatdown, Space Ripper is Stingy Eyes that can be charged, Vampiric Siphon is the Knife Throw variant with a little bit of range, and obviously Stand Rush, the R special, and ult are the exact same.
I don’t think dio will have 2 move sets but is getting fully reworked but the devs didn’t want people to be mad to have a super bad character so they gave the option for movesets
Imagine if they add that icon tho goku normal moveset with saiyan and the other side with mui and the saiyan with the old moves

The way you can extend is when you use vampiric siphon then, you don’t wind up space ripper you can wait till the reach the ground or when the are still in the air
I feel like gravitational sphere is more of a R move than a normal move.

I think that a finisher for vampiric syphon is that you throw a knife in the air and when you slam them the knife hit them or something like that.
The rework is basically the same thing😭
Stand rush is the same as stand rush😭(obviously)
Space ripper behaves the same as stingy eyes (literally the same move)
Judgement might as well be the knife throw grab😭 (both are grabs that throw forward)
Vampiric siphon is really the only different move out of the rework
i thought the knife grab from the old moveset was bloodsuck
Funnier when you realize the laser move is literally called "space ripper stingy eyes" meaning they just split the attacks whole name into two parts
For the combo extend space ripper your supposed to do it right when the move finishes

Branches for Madara being spammable is probably a bug since your special is on cooldown.
I feel like they really needa focus on some finishers next update for madara and goku
the new dio moveset is more flashy then the normal one but comparing both movesets is kinda a debate. Madara's r can combo extend into gravitational sphere if u waste their ragdoll cancel and cursed worm is just body repel from jjs (yes u can make it turn)
im so glad they didnt replace it like they were planning on… if they did we would be cooked

i feel like a dio rework was needed, not just because of looks, but gameplay in general, im a laptop player with NO mouse mousepad only and when i started to play w/dio i legit no cap kept winning all my rankeds except for the dio players and some cracked players who no life, anyways what im trying to say is that first off yes you can combo extend (4 and then IMMEDIATLY 2 (no charge) and i think this nerf for dio was needed, we should be grateful it wasnt just some boring stat rework we are getting a whole new REWORK!! so lets just be happy? and also we still havent gotten a stand barrage rework yet so some hope? thanks for reading this if you did

Here’s a problem, it doesn’t feel like a rework but just altered moveset, a worse one at that. Also stand barrage rework? Why does a multi hit move as the name suggest need a rework? Literally every jjba game inside and outside roblox does the same thing, a flurry of punches, a barrage if you will.

Bro, you do not need a combo extender in every single move set
If you use laser eyes after the blood suck while theyre midair you can combo extend, you didnt do it right

Other movesets like goku is juat straight of from ki and z battlegrounds sung jinwoo from solo levelling battlegrounds sukuna from sorcerers battleground and they copied the mastery from heroes battleground and copied customs server when it released and the only 2 original movesets they have is madara and geto cause another game has dio to and alot more movesets like ichigo to
