    That is not talent, it is a God given GIFT!

    My favorite thing about this one isn't the vocals or arrangement, it's in that video. It's that attention to detail that makes the video have a little bit of hopefulness. The golden shores message on the back of the picture, the bouquet of baby's breath he's carrying. Love it!!

    Just a tip...always let Voiceplay and Geoff's videos run to the screen where the patrons roll. Not always, but often there is a little tidbit, like in this one. Great reaction, and thank you for being a firefighter.

    FYI if you watch Geoff or VoicePlay you shouldn't stop the video before the patron credits roll. They will sometimes have a little extra stuff at the end like Geoffs' Public Service Announcements about not walking on train tracks. Geoff wrote and added additional music and lyrics. He made it better. As for his low note in VoicePlays' newest Vahalla Calling Geoff, hits a B0 and holds it for a whole 15 seconds.

      Yes, agreed. Please don't stop his videos to early. He usually has something he likes to add and often it's very funny. 😁

    Hello, as a firefighter, imagine walking into a bar and saying "oh yea!" with the voice of geoff Castelluci

    Geoff's solo material is rarely ever a capella. (There may be bits, but he saves the a capella for VoicePlay's material. )

    Again, Geoff out did himself! There's nothing this man can vocally achieve! 🤯💯
    And you ... I guess you're soft and squishy! 🤣. Please, never stop a Geoff or a VoicePlay video before the credits; you might miss something important, like in this one! 😍

    Nice reaction! Be sure and roll the video until the end. VP and Geoff often have tid bits at the end.. Plus, other reactors have said that TH-cam counts the length of time you roll thru in their blocking algorithm

    Geoff put out a video explaining that the electric guitar is actually his keyboard! He was playing it though!😆 Yes, Geoff wrote the bridge!

    Hi! New subscriber here! 👋 I love when Geoff does solo work because since he does ALL of the voices/harmonies, you can really hear his impressive range. He’s a truly epic human. A true talent. And you nailed it. He’s....Geoff....what more can ya say? Lol! I love that he rocked this one up a bit. There’s a band called Charm City Devils and when they cover this one, it’s a rocker. Sounds like if Nickelback sang it but better. :-) Great reaction, you! 🙌

    Geoff has always been known for his bass voice, which he insists is baritone with a bass range, mainly because he can sing higher too, into the tenor range, but he has worked on getting ever lower using subharmonics. He's made videos about how to sing low. But apart from that it's the beauty of his arrangements and harmonies that I love about him. And his humour. Yes he wrote and added a bridge section to this one. People have asked him if he played guitar in this and he has explained that he played it on ieyboard using a guitar sound. I can't think of the actual word for that, I just know keyboards can do that. I know he uses plugins for all the background music in his videos. That deep note vibrated in my belly. LOL And just when you think he's finished, he adds a little outro. Go back and have a chuckle. Oh and on one song he has said he was aiming for the sound of a lullaby sung by a bear. :)

      Peter Barber called him out on that baritone thing. 😂 Suffice to say…Peter ain’t buying that story.
      I felt vindicated. I said BS when I heard him say that, but I don’t have a ton of music education. Peter is (in case you don’t know him) a classically trained opera singer. He is excessively educated.
      Geoff is just too dang modest to believe he’s as special as we know ge is.

    • @Badger77722
      @Badger77722 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Geoff also claimed in that video that he only had a 4 octave range, and I'm not buying that one, either!

    • @christinestromberg4057
      @christinestromberg4057 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Badger77722 I suppose it depends on what you mean by it. Is he including the subharmonics or not?

    • @Badger77722
      @Badger77722 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@christinestromberg4057 Pretty sure he wasn't including them. I also think he wasn't giving himself enough credit on the high end, either.

      @@Badger77722 The man is far too modest. But that's no bad thing. :)

    I will do all that stuff you want us to do if you will follow through on Geoff's and VoicePlay's endings. Certainly not always but often enough there are like little Easter Eggs at the end. You missed it in this one and it was an important message. Running up that Hill is another as is the Halo theme.

    Yes, Geoff wrote the new part, the bridge. He also wrote a bridge for his solo, Sound of Silence, and for Voiceplay's Golden Hour (which features his wife Kathy in a non-vocal part). If you scroll way down VPs YT page, there are three one-minute musicals that are original compositions. Geoff wrote the Miley Cyrus song. Not sure about the other two. But they're fun little nuggets with Earl and Tony.

    • @Wildecat10
      @Wildecat10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While Geoff did write an original bridge for this song and for Golden Hour, he only arranged what was already there for Sounds of Silence.
      For the One Minute Musicals, Geoff and Eli each wrote one, and Layne and Tony collaborated on the third. (The way they do for all their original music for Pattycake Productions. )

    Way better than this, you HAVE to react to Geoff doing "16 Tons" - Amazing. Then listen to him in VoicePlay doing their cover of Aerosmith's Dream On.
