At least in the first game, the darkness elemental effect was busted because it reduced enemies health by a percentage of their health, so it scaled with their health. Combined with max level attack speed it carried me a long way, but not far enough into insane to get the next tier
I got insanely addicted to this game for a month. It’s impressive how addicting the progression is

I really liked the little edits. Bringing the wave into picture when it's being mentioned, or pointing out the hp and regen. Near the 11min mark. Nice little touched that bring the viewing more in touch with sometime scattered game play
I recomend that you bum rush unlocking the mines as they giv you so many resources. Theres also an idle mode where you can automatically gain exp and white blocks.
I wish I could remember the name of the game this one is inspired from. It was like a flash game from like 13 years ago. It was like perfect cube or something like that. It's super cool to see something from so long ago get a breath of fresh air

This is the successor of "The Perfect tower" made by the same people, and it has a lot more content for about 300 hours of play time.
i think its more accurate to say around 2000 hours of content if you arent speedrunning everything
i personally have around 25000 hours and i still find things to do in the game

U should be focusing on purely offensive modules, multishot, basic attack and bounce to 100, and resources to 100 too so you lower the grind, defensive modules are only useful later in game at first they are useless you need to unlock better ones first

What I'm thinking is, since you are basically instantly killed when you start taking damage, defense doesn't seem to do that much. And you know what staves off that damage? One-shotting all the enemies. So invest all your modules into offense, baby!
yes, until no. later on you need so many levels of damage mitigation to survive, once u get into the "era" of waves which is billions upon billions of waves deep mobs do astronomical amounts of damage. Era is a literal part of progression once u get to i think the 12th prestige tier?

@@katakana1 yeah as you progress the Headquarters you unlock higher tiers of exponential stage/wave skip progression math, theres also wave catch up where if you start again you have a chance on kill/wave skip? to skip to 5% of your maximum progressed wave on that stage. it gets ridiculous, im skipping billions of waves at a time, i.e skipping hundreds/thousands of eras, which eventually becomes billions of era

After nearly 48 straight hours of playing it, I realized it's a mediocre tower defense game loosely tying together 20 active incremental games through a shared resource pool....
Please play more of this game. You've barely scratched the surface, and the mechanics of this game go so much deeper.

Okay this looks addictive but the power level creep from easy to medium at the end is crazy.
I mean, you're supposed to go to the second maps easy difficulty first, but that could take him a while.

this game gets nuts... not proud but I have 467 hours into it according to steam...
End game is honestly not fun, at least a year ago when I played. It turns on to a puzzle game where you're given 200 modules and are expected to figure out how to complete levels with the right combination of 10 or even 5 modules.
Everything is maxxed out, but if you don't look up the right combination you lose. Also, the combinations don't work because the guide your reading is from 2 updates ago.
Then, some of the mini games are fun, most are just time burners which are even un-fun... Maybe I'll check it to see if it's been updated to be less grueling since last time.

@The-existent not even that, the factory and different minigames are cool but as soon as the game requires you to get to wave 1b for a levelup and starts introducing deathcounts and requires you to kill x enemy 100900002962537292 times so you can do 1% more damage to them its a strong downward spiral. its really a shame because the devs have really forced themselves into a corner and without redoing the entire 2nd half of the game there really is no fix to it

This game's community is psychotic. People have thousands of hours of actual active playtime in the game not counting tens of thousands of idling. Abandon all hope, best game I've ever seen tbh.

This is, shockingly, among my top fave games on Steam... Its also one of the very rare games among the small pile of games that ive actually beat; and like... This game takes a LONG time to beat heh
I had mentioned before in the comments that DF needs to play it bcuz its just a grt numbers get bigger game and its free; which makes it exactly in his wheelhouse
And i was right :3 I actually rly hope DF returns to this game bcuz he has only just barely scratched the surface of it... That headquarters he ignored cuz its so complex is actually a huge part of the game, but in the beginnin it can (and probs shud) just be ignored for the most part; its def a lot to parse

The game is very additicting, after a certain point you will have to sometimes idle in town or wave clear for resources or modules you haven't unlocked yet to beat more difficult levels.
Im currently idling on endless impossiable, black&white zone for 63 hours since wave start.
Thats including speed modifiers.
Real time ~10hours.
Cant way for him to learn the factory.
Oh no DF is about to go down a deep rabbit hole of ai, blueprint optimization, and much more grind good luck. (Ps I have over 1000 hours on this game and still not at the end of late game lol)

Basic Bouncing, Multi-Shot and Attack Speed: The best early-game modules in Perfect Tower II. Once upgraded, It is hard to stop them. Can gp all the way with all offensive modules except for Stone Foundation. Anyone object to or agree with this claim

how have you not found this game until now? I might have played over 500+ hours, if you continue. there will be much to do. (Warning, past the initial start, the game requires you to use your brain)
This actually looks like a good "tower" game, the prices seem reasonable, and the enemy strength increment doesn't get out of hand at wave 18 or any other low wave on easy mode.
I have spent hundreds of hours on this game, just addicted to the Red Factory portion of the game. I actually forgot about the "Tower" portion. Never needed to play it.
I FINALY FINSHED WAVE 100 AFTER 4 HOURS OF CONTINUES PLAYING!

Oh god I remember this game. It gets insane later on. Like you need actual scripts to beat some stuff.
So I played this game, and made a warped tower. I started with a mostly pyramidal shape with a flat top, then moved the top points 90 degrees about the center, so each face is slightly twisted, which surprisingly the game has no issues with.
