- Naturally, this song will provoke emotions, but this move of God shows anything bad can become good. I am not an escapist I strongly oppose escapism, The harsh reality social media, and television as poisoned the minds of our Children. Rape, molestation, early pregnancy and so much more is sadly what is happening to our youth, Music is powerful, the core agenda is to target our youth and provide an option to what they're hearing, in our taxis, buses, supermarkets, communities and surprisingly our homes. Reggae and Dancehall is Jamaica's authentic sound to the beat as it captivates the mind effortlessly. As a minister of the Gospel in these last days, we have to use wisdom and tap into our culture and invade it positively. However, while we marvel men God gets all the glory, we use songs and methods like these to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord works in a mysterious way this is another way he is using me (Chozenn) to share his word radically. I refuse to accept that this general is lost, If you are not a Christian while reading this you, yes you! I am praying for you to accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour. If you are saved and overly critical and deeply religious it's not for you but don't be quick to Judge God will be back to Judge the hearts of Men. I love you all and I am praying for this nation and world. [HOSEA 4:6]

The original song wasn’t a negative song, it was very raunchy I would say but the lyrics were not negative, just a beautiful black woman expressing her sexuality without the added Eurocentric sex acts. To me a “Christian” version wasn’t necessary, he could have made a gospel song about his faith without slicing off someone else talent

I saw the social media controversy and ended up here. All I can say is that the song has a conscious message and all I've learn growing up in my Christian life is to bawl out to Jesus because He is the only one who can save me. I don't know what revelation God gave to Chozenn why he wrote this song or copied it by what I'm seeing from social media but I'm gonna say Jesus you be the judge and lead your son and keep his heart in your righteousness. Tearing him down won't solve it if he's truly at err but praying for and encouraging him in love will always be the way of Christ. Blessings.

Shan Bunny I can appreciate your view but as Christians we must lead by example. My issue is not with the words of the song, not with his delivery nor expression. But the underlying truths associated with it.
1. The fact that as a young Christian he decided to feed his spirit with that. Because he would have to, he would need to internalize the original to be able to produce his version.
2. He chose to not be set a part. As though the material he could produce for Christ is not good enough so he had to ride on the wave of a lude and rather distasteful secular artist
3. And sorry to say but the mind is very good at correlation, so his message is going to be lost on many, as immediately as a person hears the riddim (and some lines of the song) their (our) minds will be brought to the original song.
