I think it's really awesome how the crowd knew within 1 second what she was singing and could sing along to her version of the song. I think all that encouragement and singing along actually makes her have more fun.
Tori encourages people to sing with her, she wants it. In a lot of her live shows she straight up asks them too. Part of what makes her great is how much she engages her audience. She's more than just her voice as an artist.
