I think Mila's husband is from northwest China, which is historically where Turkic people live because I think he looks a bit Turkic/Uyghur in appearance, and he calls his father "Ada" instead of like Most Mandarin speakers say "爸爸", or "爹", and Turkic people call their father "Ata". Yea, when first saw Yonghong he doesn't have the typical Han look nor his accent (then it could be regional accent). Lian-Lian is seems very close to grandpa.
