    Our favourite ride was the Pulsar🌀🌊 (with some special love to Tiki Waka🦁)
    But I'd like to hear from you: What is your all-time favourite Walibi Belgium ride? 😁🙌🏼

    Nicely edited video, really enjoyed watching it!
    Was surprised to see that fire effect in Challenge of Tutankhamon tho, since it wasn't in use for years for as far as I know. Hopefully it'll still be there when I will be visiting the park :D

      thank you man! Glad you liked it :) Tutankhamon was a really pleasant surprise! We were expecting some really low budget darkride, but to our surprise it was pretty nice made with some really scary elements in it!

    Really appreciate all the energy you put in your videos. Popcorn Revenge seems like a decent addition to the park and those gopro fusion shots interact very nice with Tiki Waka.

      Thank you, I really appreciate your comment :) Popcorn revenge was pretty okay, not the best darkride, but it was fun enough! I asked beforehand to the staff if I could film with the Fusion and they were allowing it, so that was also really great!

      You're welcome! I have the feeling that Popcorn Revenge is more like a fill in attraction to make that part of the park stand out more. It really adds to the atmosphere, although it's not the best. Really cool they allowed you to use the gopro fusion with an extension pole. Yet again, thank you for sharing this amazing content. Although you're not speaking as much to the camera as other theme park vloggers, you're content is more valuable and active. Cheers bro!

      It is a great park. Plus next year they're getting an Intamin mega coaster so it will definitely put the park on the map of must-visit parks in Europe

    The original Walibi park opened in 1975, the Walibi name being the first two letters of the three cities the park is placed on (Wavre, Limal, Bierges). Psyké Underground is the oldest coaster in the park, a Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop coaster built in 1982 and refurbished in 2013 by Gerstlauer. The park is undergoing a huge makeover by the way, getting an Intamin mega coaster in the process. Very good video ! Also I don't know if they smoothened the track or not but I rode Loup Garou and honestly I had an excellent ride experience ! Not excessively rough and I have spine problems so I'm sensitive to that. I know that they're going to retrack it (not RMC, just smoothening the current coaster) but I have no idea whether they already started doing it or if it's still on their to-do list

      Hey man, thank you for your reaction! That's some nice information you have right there. I've been following the building process of the new Intamin over there... looks really amazing if it all works out! Walibi Belgium definitely beats Walibi Holland in ride offer if the Intamin is ready. Well, the experience we got with Loup Garou was not pleasant because it was raining really hard. Maybe we we're used to some more luxoury but next year I definitely try riding that thing again (hopefully in better weather conditions haha) Psyké Underground is a unique miracle coaster I think. That they built something like that in 1982 is just ridiculous!

      @@LeisureLevi Yes it is very impressive for the early 80's ! Except originally between 1982 and 1999 the coaster was outside. They put the building over the station, launch track and loop after complaits from nearby residents (the coaster is less than 100 m away from houses). Then they put the tubes and light effects in 2013. Also the launch was changed, it used to have a flywheel system that brutally launched you out of the station until it broke down in 2008 leading the coaster to close until 2013. They changed it for a more modern LIM magnetic launch. Fun fact: the old flywheel launch system is now visible at the start of the queue, Also fun fact: in 1997 the coaster, which was named Sirocco at the time, got stuck upside down on the top of loop. There is on TH-cam a part of a French and an American TV news that reported the incident. Oh and when I went there it was raining really hard for 30 minutes before it stopped, and when it stopped I went first for a second ride on Radja River before heading to Loup Garou, so I didn't have the rain slapping my face but the tracks were still wet so the train was going just a bit faster than usual

      @LeisureLevi  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@imaginox9 Wow damnn! I looked it up and the rollercoaster looks really funny back in the '90s! A Flywheel launch.. I was wondering how they did that because modern launch systems didn't exist back in the 80's. Do you know they ever changed the track layout? Because it felt we went down at the launch just before we hit the loop.
      I'm also wondering about the loudness of the new Intamin; it's also being build very closely to the residents. All that screaming should really make some noise I think. Maybe they build a wall like they did with the Taron in Phantasialand..?

    • @imaginox9
      @imaginox9 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LeisureLevi No it's still the same Schwarzkopf classic layout with the original Schwarzkopf tracks 🙂, the only things changed by Gerstlauer were the launch system and the train (and Gerstlauer kept using original Schwarzkopf-style lap bars to keep the original feeling of the coaster). But there is a video on Walibi Belgium's TH-cam channel where one of the park's engineer says that leaving the coaster in the dark would disorientate guests adding another effect to the coaster, so you probably got disoriebted a bit 😉 ! As for the mega coaster I don't know what they'll do to reduce the noise, we'll see next year when it will open 🙂

      @@LeisureLevi Also if you want to know in detail how the Flywheel launch system worked, there is a great video on Coaster Bot's channel explaining all the rollercoaster launches that existed, but I'll explain here briefly how it worked: a wheel (the flywheel), which was attached to an electric motor, would spin faster and faster. Once it reached the desired speed, a clutch would engage, making another wheel attached to a cable violently start spinning at the same speed. The cable was attached on one end to that other wheel, and to the other end to a small catch car that would attach itself at the back of the train. Once launched, the catch car would let the train go then will slowly go back to the station as the train clears the layout, passing over the catch car in the process

    Thanks for your video. Walibi Belgium is indeed a great park and is better than Walibi Holland. Mind that the Walibi Belgium is in the middle of a huge make-over. In 2021 the park will open the heighest and fastest megacoaster in the Benelux, beating Goliath.

    • @LeisureLevi
      @LeisureLevi  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      true that! And next year they are opening an interactive waterride and they are going to expand Aqualibi! Honestly, this park is really going to establish itself on the international market with this tempo.

      Leisure Levi Actually, plans have changed. For 2020, Walibi Belgium will do a complete re-theme of the parks entrance, which was actually planned for 2019. Also for 2020 is a make-over for the zone including FlashBack, Psyké Underground and Pulsar, which will become Dock World!

      It is pronounced as SUKA and BLYAT’ where YA is similar to ‘yankee’ and T’ stands for a soft [t] like in ‘tea’. These two words could be well used together like ‘f*cking sh*t’, however they are more common to go separately.
