The valve seats in a flathead are part of the cylinder. The cylinder is cast iron. This is hard material and not at all the same as the brass seats in a Panhead or Shovelhead. The is no need to do anything as far as the seats go. Good hard coated or STS valves and cast iron valve guides and a big flatty will run forever.
Just watched it video I got them early knocker Flathead I don't know frame I've had for 40 years and it has the letters DPO cast into the neck the raised letters anybody ever seen that
