    Thank you for this very helpful video 👍. The hint to start with the wooden parts from top seems to be pretty important.

      @@stephentraversart you’ve done a lot of the work already! If you compile all the content in your videos there’s plenty for a book.

    Can we do this using squiggly lines? How to make it look neat and coherent if we do use it?

    • @stephentraversart
      @stephentraversart  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We can use any lines we want to create the effect we want. That’s partly what creates our drawing style. Experiment and see if you’re happy with the result. 😀

    Do you ever paint your line drawings? I’m sure they’d be beautiful!! I just found your channel today. I use pencil not pen for my line drawings. Why do you use pen and not pencil?

      Only a handful of times, but it’s something I want to do more. The paper I use is great for markers, but sadly by it the best choice for watercolour. It’s a little smooth. 😩 I started in pencil, but I love the crispness of ink. And it cured my perfectionism. I could keep erasing every second line, I had to learn to work everything together towards the end result. Stay flexible 😀

    This is a great work! Stephen ! How long have you been drawing in pen ? Did you do other artistic job before ? I am trying my best to learn from your channel which is by far the best I have even seen.

      Thanks David. I’ve been drawing since 2018. But I painted in oil paints for 10 years before that. Thanks for your kind words. 😀

      I have a playlist on how to draw trees you may find helpful. Here’s a link th-cam.com/play/PLwjv2r1KZs1T6N8jxkM-M6r8m3_hX1Q1v.html It’s just a different way of thinking. 😀
