Your dressage presentation is really very good, Ellie - I like your diagonal lead changes at two tempi after 8:35 and even more the exact flying lead changes after 8:53 and your elegant sitting trot. Well ridden !!! Unfortunately you don´t show how Erin rides him - you only mention that "he was very strong today!" I should have loved to watch her ride that strong horse, as Erin always is at her best, when she rides her stallion Gee being fresh. I am glad I subscribed to your channel, presenting two superb riders. Thank you!

You can't just retire a horse? Because he was grand prix horse? I bet any horse would be happy to just live the rest of their life in a big green pasture after working hard since a young horse,with a little grooming sometimes. I think it's more of a rider excuse.
What are you talking about? It’s nothing to do with because he was a Grand Prix horse at all. Do you honestly think that if I could make this an option that I wouldn’t? He is not the kind of horse you can just retire in a big green field as he would literally run around until he killed himself. I know this horse better than anyone and what he likes and doesn’t like. He is much happier staying in light work and going out all day, but only in the daytime. We have tried to get him to live out but he hates it. All my other horses that are fully retired are living in the field, but you cannot treat all horses in the same way, as they are not machines.
I actually had Rio for the last year before he retired from competition and I can confirm there is nothing he would hate more than to stop work and live in a field 😂 it’s none of your business what Ellie does with her horses!
