Do i need to set the camera to slow motion during orbit shot. I tried as per your instruction but my camera can't do the same as you do. Also in you video the orbit shot ia in slow motion but in your instruction just set it to 50 fps and double tap to engage the tracker.
using higher frames per second and then editing the video on a good editor will let you turn those videos into slow motion. So 50fps for example, on a 24fps timeline will be slowed down. If you are not using a editor that let's you do this, then yeah, it's better to use the slow motion function
I've used some of these on some of my more recent Geocaching videos. Awesome tips! I think one thing that can help with scenes like walking down a trail, along a road, a beach, train tracks, etc is to try a different filming method like Hyperlapse. That mixed in with regular shots can make scenes more fun to watch if something "different" is shown.
hi, I have watched your video for a week, and I like it so much, I have to ask you about pocket 2, I get it 3 days ago and I'm trying to active battery percentage on screen cannot find it?
Thank you Otto for the great video! Can you recommend a portable device for harp screen recording cuz I make TikTok video, as DJI is not mainly made for that. Thanks!
@@OttoJulian_ Sorry,I meant portrait shooting. Pocket 2 is not convenient for that. Do you have any idea about something like pocket2 which can set up shooting portrait and landscape with the same holding position?
Oh! The only way to make it switch to portrait mode is by holding horizontally, if you hold it as we normally do (vertically) the gimbal will not switch to vertical mode
@@OttoJulian_ the seller tells me that there is no 1/4 female insert under the Pocket 2 to receive the Selfie Stick and therefore impossible to fix the camera on it
Hi Otto, I love your videos and your style. They are useful tips, presented in a factual, to the point, but not flashy manner. I have not upgraded to the Osmo Pocket 2, yet; but your tutorials are broadly applicable and I find them helpful. My only difficulty is that I find your cover page of your several tutorials too similar. Even though I have watched each video several times, I still can’t distinguish one from the other just by looking at the cove page. Perhaps you can change the titles a bit, or make the look of each title page. But thanks.
Hi Jonathan, thanks for your feedback. Noted about the thumbnails (cover). I have thought about it myself many times, trying to think about the right way to modify this
Your videos are always very interesting. It teaches us ideas that we never thought before. Keep making videos on how to make cinematic DJI pocket 2 videos.
Another great video. Your tips are very helpful and I am always looking forward to your new videos, especially because of Dji Pocket 2. As a beginner, I always don't know how make diffrent shots and your videos help me with that. At the last shot "Looking up" unfortunately you didn't show how to hold the Dji Pocket 2 and which mode. I tried a few times the same shot and had "follow mode" but the shots were all bad. So it would be very helpful and I would really appreciate it if you would always show how you hold the camera and which mode. Thanks in adavance and have a nice day.
Thank you Fars! I think I should hire you as my "edition adviser". Seems like sometimes I forget to mention key elements. For the tree scene you can use follow mode, hold the pocket 2 up in the air (looking at the tree) and then you are going to "twist" your body (your whole body will rotate). The scene on the building (called The Vessel) I used follow mode, held the pocket 2 in front of me, slowly walking forward and raising my arm along with the pocket 2. Hope it helps, and thanks for your patience
@@OttoJulian_ :-) I just follow your videos very closely. I hardly ever use the tracker, I will probably use it more often in the future. Thanks for the tips, I will try to take shots like with the tree or building.
You can see the transformation of the shots right away with your tips. Thank you for sharing!
You are welcome Timothy!
These are pro tips, thank you! It’s amazing that a camera this tiny can give you cinematic shots, especially when you have the the right technique.
Absolutely! thanks for watching!
I love the Pocket 2, amazing camera quality!!!
hi Timothy! that's right
