Belarus they get a black eye for some reason around here but they're one of the world's largest tractor manufacturers and then the only company you can call up and have an engine or a transmission for a 50 year old tractor sent to you very simple very useful and in my opinion a good tractor
I agree....I have had one for about 20 yrs...they are a simple rugged tractor...I like the design philosophy.... in the event of total infrastructure collapse these tractors would be the best ones to have....
Mine a little older doesn't have yellow stripe engine seized so put diesel in cylinders 1 through exhaust valve been sitting two years thanks for the gear pattern
Thanks for the excellent description in detail the workings of this tractor. I really liked this video as I have never gotten this lose to one, but have seem a couple from a distance. Good job!
I know this is a an old video, but I hope you get this. I have a Belarus 250AS that I am trying to get running and have a problem with the decompression lever. It is hard to move. At the engine case, I have to pry the rod backwards to the open compression so the engine will 'free-wheel' as it should. I then have to push the lever forward with my foot to close the system for compression. I hope that makes sense. It is functioning when I use this process, but the lever should move freely using the control lever. I have sprayed quite a bit of PB Blaster where the levers enter the engine case, but that has not loosed the levers to where the rod will move freely. Any thoughts on how to get the rod to move freely would be appreciated. Hopefully this does not mean 'cracking' the case.
Hi, I am buying one of these this week from a local man. Does it have 35hp or 31hp? Everything I have read says 31 but you said it is 35. Now I am confused as to which is correct.
Sorry I must have made a mistake, according to tractordata.com it is 31hp on engine, 24hp on PTO and 22hp on draw bar. These are really nice tractors, I hope you have good luck with it! Thanks for watching
Legally it's 31 due to import taxes, but my grandfather always told us they actually put out about 35 at the crank. Had it said that on the paperwork it would have been subject to more import duty taxes. Sortof like how Subaru put seats in the back of Brats to skirt the import truck tax.

It's the ak47 of tractors. Literally.
Have been working on the same tractor for a while. Videos have been very helpful.

That pump disengagement would be great limp home if you blow a line out in the field.

Good looking dog you have there.
Thank you. Just fixing up my old Belarus and was having a hard time shifting . Really great help 😎
Interesting how they setup the hi lo
Interesting machine and how some of the controls are setup
Another great video. And I love the thumbnail! 😃👍
Great video. I have a Belarus that needs brakes work. Could you do a video on that. I would greatly appreciate it.
My 1982 T25A1 doesn't have the forward and reverse lever, just one single very complicated gear lever 🤣🤣
Are there any hydraulic connections in the back?
There are 2 sets of ports in the back, one set is plugged into the 3.pt but if you are not using the 3.pt.then you could unplug it if needed.
How do you engage the rear diff lock I cannot get mine to move at all?
Hello, I think they get rusted up setting, try some penetrating oil and see if it comes loose?
I know this is a an old video, but I hope you get this.

Mine moves easy. Have you been able to fix it?
Personally,I like the Belarus tractor
They really seem like a pretty solid tractor, can't be easier to work on 👍
How do you change the battery
Just slide the drawer out. Really nice set up.

My steering got stuck. Was hard to turn before parking and now it is Not move at all after couple months parking in weather. any idea?
It probably got water in the steering box and it locked up the bearings. I had something similar happen on my Kubota L2000 tractor
Looks like it's built to do some serious work. Nothing dainty about it.
These things are cool. The Russians went to Venus. They won the space race.
