Awesome track, probably one of my favorites.... I was very tempted to continue on but that hill down to the river was a bit nasty, I probably could have got back up it ok if f I had to turn back but it wasn't worth the risk solo.... Over the other side of Campbell Rivulet, the track through to Farquhars Rd, it appeared the track goes up quite steep, about 250m over 1km on the map, I was expecting that to be nasty, the odds of having to turn back were high, so the safe choice was to leave it and I'll return with the little XL185 one day to complete it... The XL is perfect for that kind of stuff: th-cam.com/video/v2tCDEo4Btg/w-d-xo.html ...

Another great ride mate, I was on that track about a month ago with a mate. It was late in the day , getting dark so we had to turn around. After watching this I've got to go back. Top effort 👌

It's a fun track, a nice mix of dodgy but not too dodgy, I think it would get pretty messy when wet though...

Awesome video mate. Hard to tell exactly from the video but I assume it's not the best track for a 4x4.
    Is this near Barrett's rd?

Yes, Blackwell Rd, Weaning Rd, through to Barretts Rd, it probably wouldn't be doable in a 4x4, bike or atv only... Sorry for the slow response..

Ok finished the whole video now 😳 dam that last bridge was way dodgy mate and you must have bigger balls than me as i would not have gone over that and then ride up the plank to get out 😮😕 think by myself i would have done the bypass 🤔
if you ever decide to go back and finish the track give me a call and i will join you as would love to do it again 😁👍
keep well and ride safe-ish mate 😉🍺

It looked worse in person, lol, usual story, the Gopro flattens everything out.... I wandered around that bridge for ages working out a plan, it wasn't too risky but it could have been nasty if things turned bad... The bypass track wasn't really an option, it was near vertical, and the track though the creek was real dodgy, it would have been hard work... A wise man would have just turned around and backtracked for an hour to get out the way I came in, lol... A couple of days earlier I had been down that road but I turned back about 100m before that bridge, so I was fairly confident I could get through that way... I'll probably look at heading back up there next summer :)
