Good luck taking this long. In treatment room you get ten minutes per patient for wound care, that includes getting them from the waiting area, introducing yourself, taking off their dressing, dressing the wound, doing your notes on the computer.
This is the most proper demonstration on aseptic techniques that I have ever seen. Proper hand hygiene, preparation of equipment and after care disinfection. Well done.

hi, why do you clean the wound before swabbing? wont you clean away the bacteria that you want to test for? thanks
cleaning the wound removes organisms on the surface which can lead to the lab report coming back as mixed growth
