This new trilogy takes place 30 years after the original trilogy, so they couldn't have adapted the Thrawn canon for the sequels. So I'm still scratching my head what they could've done for a storyline instead of this rehashed slop....the originals; empire vs rebellion, rebels take down empire. Prequels: republic and Jedi, sith takes down republic and Jedi and creates empire. What can you do really?

If people get upset that you like one note in a sequel trailer, then they don’t deserve to be a Star Wars fan. Nearly nine years have passed and this still might be the greatest piece of trailer music ever created. One of the most nostalgic things I could possibly listen to.
Han and Leia's theme from The Empire Strikes Back was always one of John Williams' best love themes. It stood out at the end of the end credits finale of that film, but you barely hear it at all in The Force Awakens. Strange, since much of this film is about them and their son.
This might be a load of rubbish but notice how it can somehow seem as though rey is holding the red lightsaber symbolising how she has that dark side temtation and it makes her look like how episode 9 made her. I cried. It was the most beautiful redone version of the original. I just can't.
+Alber +Reymart Dinglasa - Same here. I don't know why but I just involuntarily teared up when that part of the score kicked in. It was just beautiful and hit me right in the nostalgic feels.
+bpowick what is the name of the original soundtrack??? Ngl this trailer gives me deep chills every time I hear the soundtrack
This was as good as it was going to get lads.
the force awakens was so good, the last jedi was good IMO, but lots of people didn’t like it as well, and the rise of skywalker was bad no matter if you liked the last jedi or not
