oh yeah i think i should clarify the "skill 3 flips coin multiple times thing" because the way i worded it could be confusing and its pretty outlandish. but the idea behind it is that i think the EGO manifested skill 3 could potentially flip itself multiple times before attacking to make the single strike really powerful, the main idea for this was the flash of flame on the lance point so i thought that could be the first flip of the single coin and then the wind up to the attack would be the second flip that is actually is the attack.
Or likely the odds are its conditional coin power stacked ontop of several conditional powerful damage boosts like pirate gregor s3’s second coin that makes it individually hit so hard that it basically does the equivilent of a 4-5 coin nuke
What do people think the conditions for manifesting his E.G.O. will be in the first-place? Judging by how his E.G.O. sprites look much more bloody and battered compared to his non-E.G.O. sprites, I'm thinking it might be an HP conditional (ex. if HP is 50% or lower, manifests E.G.O. next turn) or something of that sort that is the condition. Adding on to that, it would be nice to see if it is implemented similarly to BLSault, where Philip Sinclair's HP will not drop below the given HP threshold for E.G.O. manifestation within a single turn, also paralleling how some bosses in LoR function. Also, I'm hoping his roll for his skill 3 in his E.G.O. form will be absolutely insane seeing as how Blazing Strike, the card that it seems to be based off of, is one of the highest rolling one die cards in the entirety of LoR. Overall, I am super excited for this ID and have high hopes for how it will be implemented.
The way I see it, there are a few options here; passive activation, where certain conditions let him awaken (either through holding enough sin or perhaps having a few allies die), hp threshold, where he awakens upon losing enough health, or time-based, where he awakens ego after a few turns, similar to vergilius activating his ego after 3 turns.
@@stormy_person7530 Ooh, the turn-based conditional also sounds pretty reasonable. It's not gimmicky like a lot of the sanity ideas I've heard thrown around, it's not difficult or too punishing to reach like having to have one of your sinners die, and it's not difficult to maintain (esp in Mirror-Dungeon-like content) like an HP threshold. Chances are if you are doing a battle that reaches into high-turn counts, you are struggling, or in a boss-fight, which would be the perfect scenarios for an E.G.O. manifestation. Battles that conclude in a low turn count would make it so Philip doesn't use his E.G.O. at all, as low-turn count battles are inherently easier and wouldn't need his E.G.O. in the first place. Thematically though, a HP threshold conditional would make the most sense (and is my preferred). Perhaps he might have a mix of multiple, then? Both after a certain amount of turns and/or if he drops below a certain HP threshold? Would certainly be interesting to see.
I was thinking that maybe his ego manifestation comes through stacking a certain amount of negative emotion, would be a nice way to implement that lor mechanic to limbus imo
@@Schiso13 THAT would be ABSOLUTLY mega boring to stack anything in normal fights wich means that he would only shine in normal fights with bosses and only bosses Negative sanity is the WAY if not this id is gonna GET left behind for being so unreliable
I noticed that theres no another ID at the night, so ill take a really dumb thought here. Can it be that Sinclair gets 2 different ids? One is the Regular and one is ego. This is really dumb tho, the lack of 2nd id could be because theres 2 egos, and overall, 2nd night didnt even have one ego, so probably its gonna be a single id with a cool gimmick of: 'grr... im maaaad... im letting my EVIL side take over me!!!!'
By now you've probably already figured it out, but this is a singular ID capable of changing forms and there will be two EGOs accompanying it for Ishmael and Rodion. If you've played through all of Canto 6 then you'll have seen a preview for these new ID types already. The overall theory most of us have is that Sinclair will be able to change forms after a certain condition is met, likely through a new unique mechanic or status effect that builds up throughout combat making form change IDs better suited for longer fights. We'll have to wait and see to know for certain but what we do know is that this is a singular ID that changes forms.
this man better have an evade on non ego (cowardice) then a counter/block on ego (feather shield)
When you use a defense skill in default form he just leaves.
Fr Fr
its a cool idea but that'd just mean his non ego form is better at defending then the form of him that has a shield
@@TSG_Froakunless the sheild is insane
It'd be cool if his feather shield inflicted a bunch of burn on being hit, and or granted a buff....

Yall saying he'll change between forms where PMoon can very easilly pull a Red Eyes and give him 2 IDs
They only showed 2 ID arts so the pre uptie and post uptie art. That's how all their trailers go

cause 2 ego
Maybe he changes forms when he’s the only id on the field or when one of his teammates dies or takes too much damage?
