Today I am going to tell you the story of Timothy Dexter, the luckiest man in history, he was born in 1747 in the United States from a humble family. The precarious economic situation in which he found himself did not allow him to continue with his studies and he began to working at the early age of 8 years on a farm after there he began as an apprentice in leather goods making until he was 21 years old
He decided that he would start his own business as a manufacturer of gloves and pants made of this same material and decided to move to Charleston in Boston where the industry in this sector was very strong and in that same city is where he would have his first stroke of luck, he met a widow. wealthy, 9 years older than him, Elizabeth, they fell in love and he wasted no time and got married, suddenly becoming a millionaire. The newlyweds settled in a neighborhood of rich families where they had several characters as neighbors who went down in the history of the uncle sam country
Dexter wanted to belong to his intimate group, to be one of this high society, a respected man idolized by the masses. Unfortunately, his neighbors did not see him as one of them but as a nouveau riche with no education. A fortune-maker set out to multiply his wealth so he was able to the possibility of being part.
