Happy for Rach. Hope she makes as much money as she can off the divorce, since she has to pay a weak ass man. She didn’t go in depth and try to earn sympathy like pathetic Bryan, she kept it classy cause that’s who she is. She’ll probably do a big interview or book later. If it’s just support for his move let’s see if he starts making money on his own soon
Lets all remember Bryan is also getting paid while revealing intimate details about their life than Rachel did in this tiny snippet.

In this clip, she answered a question about the divorce and moved on to how she started out. Bryan's entire interview was about their divorce and he brought up Rachel's personal medical information which she had never disclosed. He did it w/ someone who promotes misogyny claiming to be a divorce coach.
Rachel is selling this car. Bryan was selling his divorce to garner sympathy for himself.

Can wait for the next hearing to hear the judge tell her she owes him half her assets and half the value of the house…a house that was purchased during the marriage which had no prenup and in a community property state.

We'll see if if there is a difference between temporary support (awarded based solely on income/expense) verses permanent support (awarded based on income, person's ability to support themselves and several other factors).

A hearing is set after a motion document called a “Request for Order” is filed with the family court. For these financial motions, it is a requirement that each party file an Income and Expense Declaration to show their respective financial status.
How Is Permanent Spousal Support Calculated?
Permanent spousal support is not really “calculated” since the court is not allowed to use a calculator. The court is required to list and consider each and every factor in Fam. Code 4320 to determine the amount and duration of spousal support, if any. Generally, these are the standard of living during marriage, employment, income, earning capacity, health of each party, and so forth.
In practice, permanent spousal support judgments are typically slightly lower than temporary spousal support orders.
The judge is allowed to use a computer to determine temporary alimony, but is not allowed to use the calculator to determine permanent alimony.
The only consideration necessary for temporary spousal support is the supported party’s need and the other party’s ability to pay, while there are about a dozen factors that the court must consider when ordering permanent alimony."
@@AGFootyFan87 You understand a mortgage is a loan. If there is 30% equity in the house, the remaining 70% is debt. If the house is sold for what they bought it for, then that 30% would be the profit. The almost $500,000 of her money (premarital funds) she used for the deposit, along w/ any mortgage payments made after the separation will be taken out of that 30% before it is split 50/50. There was no mixing of funds her money was always kept separate.
Also, the only thing the judge saw were there income/ expense sheets and that is all he used to determine temporary support. Temporary support is given while the divorce proceedings are occuring,
The next hearing requires documentation and proof. The 250,000 in PayPal, Bryan ability to support himself and several other things will factor into permanent spousal support. Everything I said applies to permanent spousal support not temporary and it's still true.
