Its actually pretty simple when you learn. 1 = Square 2 = Triangle 3 = X 4 = Circle D is Down F is Forward B is Back U is Up JI is Jump In ( Jump Toward Opponent ) MB means meterburn xx is cancel into also 1 + 3 is Square plus X but you can usually do a grab (L1) in place of 1 + 3 as it is the same thing.
@@EducatingDims247 Those don't mean anything in the context of combo notation... the only time you will see any use of - or + signs is when discussing frame data, for example someone saying a move is -6 on block. But they don't mean anything in the context of combos, I would ask whoever you got that from what that is supposed to mean. But proper notation does not use it

@@seeyouspaceraccoon I really like Damian actually. Though I've only known his DCAU version (Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin, Batman Bad Blood, JL vs Teen Titans, and Teen Titans Judas Contract.) He's been awesome in those. He's cocky sure, and an annoying little brat, but he's got heart and good intentions. I think people hate him because in Injustice he sides with Superman, which sucks but it's an Elseworld, the real Damian can be great.

I noticed too that after landing a db3mb, it's hard to connect his 212 (vengeance) string. I can land it when the opponents feet are at eye level, but never consistently when practicing. Is the hit box lower for 212, or should I be doing the combo to a slower rhythm instead of dialing it right after the db3mb?

It's easier to land if you start with an attack string that lifts the opponent into the air before sword dance. This will launch the opponent higher and make the b+3 easier to land. To help with the timing, wait for the opponent to cross over you (just barely). That's how I keep the timing down.
Matt cause there are many different ways to play and input the buttons. Even xbox and PlayStation have different button layouts. Which only gets even more expansive considering the many other styles to play. So references things in a manner than is general and based more on the games commands rather than by the many different or singular controller style format always for people who operate on all styles to be capable to understand more easily in a general sense. Overall easier for everyone across the board rather than suiting to one position. In a regard people could always just learn the one style used and incorporate it from their, but it’s generally more simplistic to go based on the games basic style and method rather than selecting from one of the formats.

The 2, 1, 2 is always a risky string on the opponent. I usually do b+1, 2 because it is more consistent.
