HeyGen review + tutorial | Making AI CLONE 🤖

HeyGen is claiming to be the next best AI video creation tool. I’m mostly interested in two of their promises - being easy to use, and… AI cloning?? Yes, you heard me right. So without further ado, let’s test it out - that’s what this HeyGen AI tutorial and review is for.

👾 What is HeyGen AI and what can it do?
Basically, HeyGen AI cloning allows you to create yourself a digital twin, that you can then use in videos. Of course, it’s just one of the many video creation tools they have. And to use them, you can actually create an account for free. There are 60 prepared avatars in the free version, and they only need written text or a recording to get them going. You can mix and match avatars with different voices and adjust the settings. It kinda reminds me of Elevenlabs. 👨🏻‍💻 How to create AI avatar
For this HeyGen AI tutorial, I’m simply here to clone myself. Once you have your subscription settled, choose the “Video Avatar” tab from the home screen and then click on the “Instant Avatar” section. You’ll need to choose whether you prefer video or text instructions and then upload the video footage. It should be at least 2 minutes long, with clear sound and good quality overall, and face the camera directly as you speak.
🎲 Other HeyGen AI features
I also liked trying out their Talking Photo feature that brings photos to life, or the face swap features to transfer my facial expressions onto the avatar. If you want to make the entire video with AI, then there’s a ChatGPT script writer integration that can make scripts based on keywords and topics. There’s also the HeyGen video translate tool, and surprisingly, this HeyGen translation thing is available with the free plan as well.

Heygen is fantastic software but their tutorials and support sucks
How do I create videos USING MY AVATAR.
All instructions are with using the pre made avatar.
I want to use MY avatar with MY script and MY voice.
I can't find instructions
All instructions are about creating your avatar or creating videos with stock avatars.
