I missed the live play-through, but having watched you play and then reading the comments below, I went and bought the game. Another totally convincing play-through that influenced a buyer, Stuka Joe. Thank you.
Man I dig that music with the drums right there at the beginning! Just got this game too! Thanks Stuka Joe regarding the card reminders for the events! You're always doing cool things like that, that helps makes games nicer to play!
Just got it! Thanks for the play through. I noticed an artillery support marker had a blue circle on it. That means it’s only for the factory scenario, not the main one. Seeing that makes me feel human, even you can make a mistake😂 Thanks agin Stuka!
Thanks! You’re right, there is an Artillery Support marker that is added to the mix in the October scenario. Oops on my part. Hope you enjoy the game! Cheers!
Stuka Joe ran into some pretty strong Soviet defenses considering they were non-urban terrain for the most part. I would have attacked the Radio Station rather than Little Mushroom given only one artillery support marker available. But the dice were kind and the result was a Stalemate. Rule of thumb: a +3 attack has a 76% chance of being a success.
I have this game. I have played twice, and lost twice. The two games were very different from each other due to the random placement of the Soviets, random events, the die rolls, uncertainty of Stuka strikes, etc. The system is great. I am looking forward to his next game introduction.
Could you have moved one of those units north to have three units in the area for the bonus at the beginning, Joe, you do the best job explaining these games especially in circumstances of showing different die rolls and options
Great video! I have the game now. One thing that is not clear to me is a stalemate. Do my units stay in the area at the end of a stalemate or get pushed back? If they do stay in the area, do I have the option to attack or retreat the next turn?
Hola! Glad to catch this Stuka Joe video live!
Have this game coming. Great video. This game looks great. Will definitely be buying others in the series when they come out.
Merci Stuka

Nothing better supplements my understanding of a new game after reading the rules than a Stuka Joe instructional video!

Excellent as always. Thank you Joe.
Just purchased 👍
You won’t be disappointed! Cheers! Thanks for the NAC update, too!

Excellent examples of play as usual Stuka. I like the idea of Event Cards and the fan-made Attacker/Defender strength card.
Thanks, JS. Glad you liked the video and the player aids, too!

I bought it before watching this, but now I'm clipping counters!
I hope you enjoy the game. I certainly did! Cheers!

31:21 The difference between Total Attack (17) and Total Defence (12) is only 5, not 10. Just wanted to point it out. Still no overrun though.
Missed the 29th Div bonus at 36 min? Also the air support roll (ah - commented).
Stalingrad back in print at last! Not going to miss out the second time around!
It’s a very innovative, fun and re playable system. Packs a lot of punch!
Great game, great video, LOVE THE INTROMUSIC :)
Thanks! And I left a mic open during the intro (Oops!).
Volume 2 in the solitaire area movement series, Manila, is now out! I hope you'll do a video on it.

Loving this game. Forced me to go and find a copy of Verdun on the Volga to try that as well
I thought it was out of print . . . very different game.
Sweet cards Stuka now I need a color printer
I have to get mine unboxed
