i don't know why, but i started to cry towards the end of the video. i live in a conservative southern state, and have no friends or family around me so i often feel so isolated as a non-binary gay person. stan, your videos bring me a sense of comfort and normalcy that i don't have access to in person, and as silly as it sounds watching your videos really does feel like hanging out with a good friend. i suppose seeing you surrounded by loved ones and such a visible community made me emotional. i'm so happy for you!! i hope you had a great time at pride, and that you were able to get some well-deserved rest after the weekend was over.

I was able to watch part of the pride parade but I regret not being able to make it to yoyogi park to join the festivities. I was just too tired from travelling the past 10 days lol and wtf does Japan have short days like everything opens at 11 and closes 5/6. Anyway the parade made me so emotional even if I’m straight because I’m so happy we are able to celebrate pride in Japan where it’s still so taboo.
P.S. Pride parade in Japan is the quietest/tamest pride celebration I’ve witnessed
