@@MyKidsHavePaws hi, I don't necessarily recommend just reading books. Do practice questions learn, the vocabulary and understand the licensing laws. The Dearborn book is good as a reference. One book I really like is the Illinois real estate license exam prep. Here is a link to it amzn.to/48ylv30
hi I have a question, is Illinois an intermediate mortgage and lien theory state or is it just a lien theory state? i'm getting confused on this. Thank you in advance.
IL is an Intermediate Theory state. Illinois utilizes both Lien Theory and Title Theory, so it isn't fully one or the other. Think "I" in Illinois for Intermediate Theory. Hope this helps.
I remember the question like… I’m a buyer agent. I have two clients. Both are interested on the same property. And was 4 scenarios…can I show property for both clients and if I need to disclose this for them
Hi, yes you can. Look up contemporaneous offers in your course material. That's what they're referring to. Remember, you always do what's best for your client. Hope this helps 😊
Hi Nonye, I'm a WI broker looking to become a IL broker through reciprocity. Is there a site, CD or book that is for the state portion of the exam only. Thanks for your time. James
Hello James, unfortunately none that I know of. I found smthg once at a local school but I don't remember what school that was. You can purchase the entire textbook (Modern Real Estate Practice in Illinois; check on Amazon too for other options) or sign up for a full exam prep course through exam smart or the CE shop but only focus on the State portion. I have a discount for the CE shop, 35% off today only bit.ly/getlicensedinIL Also, be sure to check out the candidate handbook from the PSI website www.psiexams.com/ilre to see the areas you'll be tested on. Hope this helps
www.illinoisrealtors.org/education/real-estate-license-reciprocity/ Hey guys, check out the IL realtor website above and scroll to the bottom to a product they recommend - LEAP Online Exam Prep. There is a state only exam prep for $59. Hope this helps
What is the best book to read prior to the Exam. I have both Hondros and Dearborn.
