I did feel like they rushed the episode in a way. Like. They finally show their Grandmother but she never really reappears again until their other Cousin visits and decides to be a pain in their neck. And only a few cameos. Funny how she was never reintroduced in Omniverse even though the creators could have done so. We don't even get to see her interact with Max at all.

A long rant from a cynical adult, I just wanted to get something off my chest: This entire episode has much sadder implications if you think about it. My thoughts go right to Ben’s dad & Gwen’s dad. When they were younger, perhaps college age, their mom leaves their lives permanently. She had her reasons as a space alien, but it would still hurt. And their dad was constantly going in & out of their lives with a job that takes him to parts unknown. They learn to live with that and have their own families. And THEN one day she pops back up in their world like it’s nothing, dazzles the grandkids with these amazing magic tricks & stories. She peaks their interest for basically one day, starts to develop a connection, spends a few hours being in her sons’ lives again, all three generations might just start to feel like a family again, AND THEN SHE’S GONE AGAIN. Permanently. Like it’s nothing. The story has a weekend dad element where the absent parent pops up one day, takes you to Disney World, makes you feel good, & then disappears the next morning. I sense Ben’s dad & Gwen’s dad are expected to not mind at all & not say anything. Just swallow it. Your parents’ desires & careers are priority over their children & grandchildren’s welfare. This episode makes me think about all the things that can go wrong in a family. End of rant.
I would have loved to see Verdona interact with her other son and daughter-in-law (Ben's parents). I created this fanfic in my head called, Transformers Omniverse (which is a crossover between Transformers Animated and Ben 10 Omniverse). Some time before the events of the fanfic, Ben gains a baby sister named Jennifer, and Verdona visits the family to see if Jen would also have Anodite powers. The fanfic also revealed that Verdona had a better relationship with Sandra (Ben's mom) than Natalie (Gwen's mom)...

I created this fanfic in my head called, Transformers Omniverse (which is a crossover between Transformers Animated and Ben 10 Omniverse).
Some time before the events of the fanfic, Ben gains a baby sister named Jennifer, and Verdona visits the family to see if Jen would also have Anodite powers.
The fanfic also revealed that Verdona had a better relationship with Sandra (Ben's mom) than Natalie (Gwen's mom)...
