I was reading about a ghost driver in a PS 2 game & Rudy posted this in the comments. I'm sure that he won't mind that I pass on his touching tribute to his Dad. Rudy 15 hours ago: I own Gitaroo Man for the PS2 and I use to play the hell outta that game. Music is really awesome and it’s too bad there were no other sequels besides the one on PSP. Anyways what I wanted to say is there’s a stage on the game and the music is titled "Legendary Theme" and my dad was there watching me play that stage and he told me how much he enjoyed the song. I liked the soundtrack to that game and decided to purchase the soundtrack to the game so I can enjoy the fine tunes and my dad always wanted to hear the "Legendary Theme" track. He said that’s a really sad song and he said one day he'd like that song to be played at his funeral when he passes away. Well in Sept. 28th of 2009 was the day he passed away and at his request "Legendary Theme" was played at the funeral. Not only did we like that song but family members came up to me asking what song that was because they really liked it. I don't know if it’s safe for me to say this but I believe I might be the very first to have a video game song played at a funeral.

Yep, this one's very slow and easy, I don't think they made this one for difficulty, more just for experience. That's another reason I like it so much, I don't have to worry so much about losing and more about just enjoying the music.

There were only 3 or so levels I had a lot of trouble on, but yeah, with practice you get a lot better. Then there's master mode which I haven't tried extensively, but I hear Gregorio's level is tough as hell on that mode. There's even a duel mode my friend and I tried, it was alright, not great, but fun.
That "Oh yeah" could only be more jolting after such a peaceful and beautiful song if it was replaced with the Spongebob "OH YEAH!!!" after the Campfire Song song.

Fast-forward, and I'm trying to play this song to calm my two young children down. Gosh darn, how did I forget about the awkward "OH YEAH!!!" at the end of stages. It was awkward when I was blasting this back then for me and my parents in a different room, and it was awkward as hell now. 😅

The problem I have with playing the guitar is that it's easy to play once you've got the hold of it and practice (like a bicycle) but it's hard to learn things and get the fingering right for the chords and such. My hobro may help me out when I go visit him, we'll see what happens.
This is an awesome game so good luck finding a good copy of this for cheap! I bought three copies of this game off ebay just so I could put together a copy with the cover, manual and disc in good condition. The drawback to PAL gamers.
:'( why wont they release on PSN EU???? is their music rights missing or something i can't think of a reason why this game is STILL not available on PSN EU after it's been on PSN JP for a couple of years now :( would love to play this on my Vita or even better a "HD" upgrade but i don't see that happening sadly.

Well Koei was the publishers, INiS was the devlopers, *goes to there offical website* yeap theres GM right there. it was there first game so I dont think they got a lot of credit, then again when you say EBA you think Nintendo first. But yeah I like Rhythm games like this, not a big fan of Guitar Hero, but I did love EBA and samba de amigo so ya, next time I go used game shoping Ill have to put this on top of the list.

There's a gentleman on here named PPF who did an amazing remaster of this with incredibly clear fingerings of it, if you're patient you may be able to get it from there
But... The guys who made EBA are iNiS, I just checked, lol. This game is made by Koei. Either way, yes, you should very much so track down a copy of this game if you like Rhythm games. It is not to be missed! :D
I personally don't like that version as much as this one, I mean I like it, but just as far as style goes I'm more into the relaxed acoustic version to the electric guitar version.
