Mit Innerem Blut, süßestem Ton wird hier Mozart gesungen, der fürwahr nicht leicht zu singen ist... Aber immer so klingen sollte...!!!! If he won at Cardiff this year I am not surprised. The voice is beautiful and except for some aspirating in the florid passages he is extremely gifted. The aria is usually cut because of its difficulties, perhaps not so much in Europe but also in recordings of the opera. He should have a splendid career.
He acquits himself very well to Mozart. Dammit, I'm trying to remember who he sounds like. It has a lovely secure confident tone. At no time did he force the issue either. Don't worry about this guy, he should have a future.
