I heard someone once said from her multipliers etc. she is on par with 4 stars. She may be a free "5*" but to get her really good you have to invest a lot. Not everyone has an extra thundering pulse lying around (only an example)

That's cause they put her materials in Inazuma. She got released during inazuma phase characters so who the hell would build her when nobody had any boss items and mob items farmed for their own Yoimia, Ei, Sara, Ayaka, Kokomi, Sayu .., new players can't level her up and you can't get constellations for her so there you go. But maxing her to lvl 80 was fun tho due to that glitch that only used 1 Gold for 10 levels worth of EXP XDDDDD
I was so hyped for her when she released. I even farmed everything beforehand, raised her to 90 with 7-7-7 talents and accidentally got a skyward harp from standard banner lol. But the multipliers and the spiral stack cd make her unplayable in abyss (at least a s a carry, but that's how I was planning to use her) I really enjoy playing her in overworld tho, but unfortunately Sara took her harp and Ganyu will take amos, so it's either rust or stringless for her. All things aside I really like her design and personality and got her to friendship 10 yesterday🥰 Hope mhy will treat the future collab characters better and actually make them meta
it's really such a shame they made the coil mechanic so damnably bad because she's got a simple but fun kit that i otherwise enjoyed using while grinding her friendship levels. she didn't even have to be op or meta or anything and with how strong the cryo roster already is without her, i don't think anyone was really expecting that. but making her abilities functional and strong enough that people who actually /wanted/ to play her could do so without tearing their hair out in frustration was not too much to ask. (especially since she has no cons and may never get any!) at least her hunting passive IS amazing and irreplaceable. it's the reason i've kept her on my team 90% of the time even after getting her namecard over a month ago cos you really can't go back to having birds and boars running away if you so much as look at them the wrong way after playing with Aloy for any extended period of time xDDD
Yeah she suck at being dps, her cooldown is way to long, her multiply is not so great, and using her as a support isn't great, sure you could do damage with her if you over build her. But she's not a great character. maybe her constellation gonna come and make her somewhat viable, I'm just breathing copium at this point.

i got a super early amos bow on the standard banner and I had no dps bow users so I tried aloy and she honestly was pretty fun to play especially since I have jean so I can just use her e and suck up all the bombs
For the game's first and so far only crossover character (MiHoYo please add Cloud Strife) it's weird that people just forgot her despite how good I've heard Horizon Zero Dawn being. I personally really like her. She seems really good and her design adapted really well to the style. If I had the materials to ascend her I would and she'd be on my team.
They adapted her in the style of the game good enough, but her design sticks out like a sore thumb in the world of genshin. When genshin comes out on switch, I hope theyll take a character from zelda breath of the wild. At least, even if the character's kit is bad, the design would fit well because they have the same futuristic while also medieval aesthetic.

The only thing I could think of atm is whatever Dain has but there's no news of a new element any time soon so it sorta brings up a similar problem for when I was considering Shulk as a crossover character because he only uses the Monado so you can't give him another weapon.

Aloy is a great character, not kit-wise. Her skill takes too long and Mihoyo just didn't put that much effort into her. But I do like her Personality back in HZD, so I main her. Hoping Mihoyo lets us unlock Cons for her, maybe that will change her perspective for other people. Lets hope they do better for the next Collab Character!
As an Aloy Main, she isn't that bad even at level 60. All you have to do is build her, it isn't that she's bad. She does pretty good damage, even with a 4* bow.

I've been using Aloy since she came out for ps4/ps5 players. I'm a mostly casual player (AR 45) so I have her at 70 and recently haven't been using her as much. It was fun and helpful having her on my team while it lasted.
I'm an Aloy main and uhhhh my Aloy is similarly built lololol we exist and Aloy can do major damage! She's easy to build and you don't even need to use blizzard strayer on her to make her strong. My Aloy uses two wanderers troupe and two bloodstained. Crit rate is 57% and crit damage is 147%. She's a level 80 and i gave her the skyward bow. Aloy is a five star y'all build your free characters. I also main Noelle and Barbara, and they both do crazy damage too (Barbara crit dmg is at 194%).
I sometimes I went to azhada lvl 70-90 with my lvl 20 aloy and I was so surprised when she did 4k-9k dmg (used the artifacts from my rosaria, also the weapon was a 4 star lvl 70 weapon)
@@themathgirl1331 I invested in Barbara because her charged attack build is insane. At around Normal Talent level 8 her charged attack does 250% damage of whatever her average attack is. So as long as you have someone to shield her and do vaporize (Thoma) she can easily spam 40k crit hits. Even with a low crit rate because you can just spam charged attacks, eventually you get the crit you want. With Bennet +Sucrose she can do 100k, although i normally get like 60-80ks with him, I've seen 100k happen. So she's a great DPS who is also self sustaining! The only way to get her to do these numbers though is to build her crit damage to the point of insanity lol. She's using the widsith at level 90 (Barbara is 80) and i have C3 Barbara. She's got a full set of wanderers troupe for the 35% additional charged damage (you can also do a bloodstained full set for 50% but you have to defeat an enemy first to get 50%).
I have a lvl 70 aloy 1.8k atk ,with lvl 80mouns moon, talents of 366, with crit rate- damage of 59-119 and with benny plus sucrose buffs , she dealt 60k with her ult (melt)

I don’t have Ganyu but if I lose the 50/50 to Ganyu , Aloy would be my next course of action . If you hit 3 (maybe 4) of the bombs on an enemy , she becomes Cryo Yoimiya . Whatever I have farmed for Ganyu is on Aloy rn (the artifs , the bow etc) and if I couldn’t get her , Aloy it is then!
(Edit: Before anyone says anything I know this is a one year old video) I want to build Aloy, it's been a long while actually since I thought that but I'm in the middle of building other characters (bringing them all to 80 first, then do the talents and then the artifacts which is going very well to be honest) in order of the elements the game show them, now I'm at Dendro. I can't wait for Aloy turn because even if she isn't good I really enjoy her style, it's really fun.
Because she has insane requirement for something as simple as getting aa conversion. Her kit jus doesn't work, and that's what makes her trash tier. I'll pick Amber over her any day, cause at least her kit works (yeah, low damage, but it's not causing frustration like Aloy).
I started playing around the time she was given away to everyone, on any device and I only used her then because her normal attacks seemed faster than my other bow characters at the time. Sometime, when I'm not too busy farming for my characters and Kazuha, I'm definitely building her as a physical DPS. *Because I can* .
Highest melt with Aloy I have done is 505k. But it was in the previous event. In Abyss as a sub dps for melt she does around 90k to 100k. She is nice but I wish he got some constellations
This shows that characters built right can do good. The only thing that draws characters back is their kits and actual stats. Every character can shine, it's just that sometimes the kits can have drawbacks people don't want.
Literally ANY character can have good dmg if you simply have their elemental dmg goblet and close to 200% crit dmg. Every character. Even the 3 star Aloy.
"When are we gonna get Genshin characters with Guns" Honestly, I've got an idea for this exact thing... Kinda. Make a character that's an Artificer. Make them play kinda like Fischl or Xiangling where their elemental skill is a gun-turret that fires elemental projectiles for a certain amount of time.
Remember that Aloy still doesn't have constellations, imagine her when using her ult get a crit buff if she freezes enemies or even her elemental skill having 2 stacks.....

people just forget the statues can heal people even forget to use food to heal at times too

Aloy is a five star y'all build your free characters. I also main Noelle and Barbara, and they both do crazy damage too (Barbara crit dmg is at 194%).
I sometimes I went to azhada lvl 70-90 with my lvl 20 aloy and I was so surprised when she did 4k-9k dmg (used the artifacts from my rosaria, also the weapon was a 4 star lvl 70 weapon)
Aloy main here I use her as a burst and she is awesome

@@themathgirl1331 I invested in Barbara because her charged attack build is insane. At around Normal Talent level 8 her charged attack does 250% damage of whatever her average attack is. So as long as you have someone to shield her and do vaporize (Thoma) she can easily spam 40k crit hits. Even with a low crit rate because you can just spam charged attacks, eventually you get the crit you want. With Bennet +Sucrose she can do 100k, although i normally get like 60-80ks with him, I've seen 100k happen. So she's a great DPS who is also self sustaining! The only way to get her to do these numbers though is to build her crit damage to the point of insanity lol. She's using the widsith at level 90 (Barbara is 80) and i have C3 Barbara. She's got a full set of wanderers troupe for the 35% additional charged damage (you can also do a bloodstained full set for 50% but you have to defeat an enemy first to get 50%).
I have a lvl 70 aloy 1.8k atk ,with lvl 80mouns moon, talents of 366, with crit rate- damage of 59-119 and with benny plus sucrose buffs , she dealt 60k with her ult (melt)
her main problem is the unreliabilty of cryo infusion at least thats what i think. if it would be more reliable people probably would use her more

For someone who played in mobile and havent learned the art of using bow characters, more even investing on Aloy (who has no chance to get boost in constellation department), this is very satisfying.. The aloy mains are so cool!

I don’t have Ganyu but if I lose the 50/50 to Ganyu , Aloy would be my next course of action . If you hit 3 (maybe 4) of the bombs on an enemy , she becomes Cryo Yoimiya . Whatever I have farmed for Ganyu is on Aloy rn (the artifs , the bow etc) and if I couldn’t get her , Aloy it is then!

I want to build Aloy, it's been a long while actually since I thought that but I'm in the middle of building other characters (bringing them all to 80 first, then do the talents and then the artifacts which is going very well to be honest) in order of the elements the game show them, now I'm at Dendro.
I can't wait for Aloy turn because even if she isn't good I really enjoy her style, it's really fun.

Because she has insane requirement for something as simple as getting aa conversion. Her kit jus doesn't work, and that's what makes her trash tier. I'll pick Amber over her any day, cause at least her kit works (yeah, low damage, but it's not causing frustration like Aloy).

I started playing around the time she was given away to everyone, on any device and I only used her then because her normal attacks seemed faster than my other bow characters at the time.
Sometime, when I'm not too busy farming for my characters and Kazuha, I'm definitely building her as a physical DPS. *Because I can* .

Highest melt with Aloy I have done is 505k. But it was in the previous event. In Abyss as a sub dps for melt she does around 90k to 100k. She is nice but I wish he got some constellations

The problem with aloy is that she was given in the pc or non playstation late. So that’s why hype was slowly going down.
hype was non existent when we saw how she works and what scaling she have.
This shows that characters built right can do good. The only thing that draws characters back is their kits and actual stats. Every character can shine, it's just that sometimes the kits can have drawbacks people don't want.

Honestly, I've got an idea for this exact thing... Kinda.
Make a character that's an Artificer. Make them play kinda like Fischl or Xiangling where their elemental skill is a gun-turret that fires elemental projectiles for a certain amount of time.
From the thumbnail alone I knew what was gonna happen.
This has now inspired me to revisit my aloy and try and make her even stronger than she is right now
the aloy being level 80 makes the damage even more impressive
