I think that talking skull is the only part of the ride where it's spoken in Japanese. I also read that it's voiced by the same actor who does the Japanese voice of the Ghost Host in Tokyo Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.
A lot of people also prefer the Paris Tomorrowland and Space Mountain. -Disney Sea is difficult to compare because it is so different but it is almost in a class of its own!
@osalsyst Whats wrong with that? Any other countries has signs in English. In fact Japan is filled with foreigners so all their transportation systems have at least 4 languages.
And speaking of Japanese audio, there's a funny story about the translation. When translating the talking skull's dialogue, they couldn't come up with a suitable Japanese equivalent to "dead men tell no tales" (the best they could come up with at first was "there's no mouth on a dead person"). They eventually came up with "if you're not careful, you may never pass this way again".
The only park I haven't seen yet is the original which is superior in the fact that it has the most rides. Tokyo seems about even overall to MK but there are definitely some superior aspects of Paris Disney, like the landscaping and park layout(particularly Fantasyland)a far superior Mainstreet and Castle, as well as much better shop and restaurant interiors, a better Haunted Mansion and overall best Pirates, though it needs to be updated.
Pirates of the caribbean was so much better before they added the film charecters. I dont know why but i feel the ride and the films main charecters should be seperate.

Aw Man! I wanted to hear what "Dead Men Tell No Tales!" sounded like in Japenese!

The music that plays right at the beginning always reminds me of the opening of "The Jungle Book".
Wow, they have a Blue Bayou at the Toyko one. Amazing. lol

I think the Japanese already have enough problems, what with Godzilla and King Kong, y'know.
"Aah! Iss Gozillaaaa!!!"
