    Noise cancelling headphones or a white noise machine are a MUST for race weekends. Gotta drown out those outside noises for good sleep.

    Let's keep the ads and the content seperate. That could have been a really good video with National races getting some much needed publicity, but it was basically 75% advert.

    Sleep is important but you seem to be putting an awful lot of reliance in the app, do you think it could also add a negative impact as you're already telling yourself you're not going to perform to your best before you start?

    That thing, to arrive early. It really is a key to calm the nerves and to get in the mood. I always say I want to "own the dojo" by arriving early before a graduation or a test. It really helps a lot.

    This whole whoop thing sounds like a ripoff, you can get a "smart band" for one monthly whoop fee and be settled, I cannot see it offering any more functionality than a Mi band for example, it's still just a wrist band with all the issues associated.

      @@jonahfreedman4986 Not saying it cant be helpful, but being helpful doesnt mean its not a ripoff, all the thing does is tell you "sleep more" etc. all things you can judge yourself no problem, and the "data" provided is based off unreliable sensors, even if it was useful in the first place, I myself can tell when I didnt get enough sleep etc, dont need an app to tell me that (yes, I tried, just because, totally useless)
      This thing definitely cannot replace a proper trainer etc. like they seem to sudgest, nor does it organise stuff for you if you are bad at this kind of thing.

    I always sleep like crap before race days or even park days. The nerves and anxious energy just won't let my brain rest. It drives me nuts!

    Ben buy some ear plugs and not cheap rubbish ones but some you'll find in Boots, silicone ones I think they're a French brand but they will transform you nights sleep mate. Great film this. Really enjoyed watching it...Bought me a new 2022 Santa Cruz 5010 S Spec last Wednesday. The sponsorship is def selling bikes - sold me one. Love it too, Stormbringer Purple.

    Great job Ben! Thanks for including and sharing your Whoop data. I use one myself and find it to be extremely beneficial to my riding/health even if my sleep performance and recovery values are less than ideal.

    hey Ben ,i have a suggestion for possibly helping you sleep better. silicone ear plugs while sleeping work wonderful. get them at local drug store.

    Think this shows the biggest con of whoop. Telling you on race weekend that you're not recovered, that's all you need. You're not going to have a peaceful night's sleep in the run up to an event. Use the metrics for training, race week, stick it in a drawer and just be chill
