hi. you give carbamazepine to patient? what do you say to the assesor? since it is morning and evening dose? do you confirm it that it is not given in the morning time?

Hello Sir, just want to ask if Paracetamol is given as a STAT DOSE at 1400H and patient has pain during drug rounds at 1600H, no need to put code right? And do you need to write that you have not given the PRN at the back of drugs not administered? Thank you!
No need to write or do anything. Just explain to the patient that it is not due yet and allow the Paracetamol to reach its full efficacy. Also, you may look for alternative pain relief.

In normal circumstances, No. if covid restrictions apply, PPE is required. Also check with your assessor if it iessential to wear one. :)

Let any competent nurse give the O2. You are sitting the exam at a band 4 capacity

Hello. In implementation, IV frusemide 40mg was given in once only medication at 11:00hr. Tab frusemide 20mg was also prescribed under regular medicines.
Start date today,frequency daily,route per oral,duration blank and patient was due for the drug e.g 8:00hrs.
Should the frusmide be given?

hi mark in implementation for oxygen prescription if oxygen saturation is 94-98 % mentioned and flow rate , device and oxygen litres is mentioned do we only ask accessor patient current oxygen saturation or also we need to document with date time , flow rate per minute and sign , please reply as iam confuse .

No there shouldnt be a problem. Osce can be taken at any time as long as the nmc application is still valid.
