Manchester United isn't a sports club anymore, it's a brand, that is where your fans come from.

A lot of folks tend to forget United, Liverpool, Forest earned their glory and have risen from working class origins. A lot of haters of United will disrespect Busby Babes or the fact they started again from square 1 with Sir Alex without the big bucks compared to now. You will never hear criticism of clubs who have risen thanks to wealthy Gulf Arabs or Russian billionaire contribution. Love or hate United (and Liverpool for that matter) they are national treasures. Who gives a toss if you don't belong to those areas up north, they've made the beautiful game more beautiful.
