We are really lucky that BTS themselves mostly ignore this custom with each other as that brings them closer to each other.

I can see Army already told you about the dumpling incident. Jimin and V made up at a park and that's what inspired V to write his song 4'oclock with RM. There's a performance of that, if you could react to it too. It's no joke when Bang PD told the boys to write songs from their own life stories, because they all did. And amazingly at that.

While listening to these subunit songs together makes sense logistically, I did feel a bit bad for you for just the tonal whiplash haha. Friends is so sweet and got me melting in my feels, the Jamais Vu got me choked up and pondering deep thoughts, and then Respect is also a thinking song is what is the meaning exactly of respect, but it is such a bop I can't help but to groove to it. And Sope Otsukare will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. The OT7 version is good to, but I just love this one because I watched it when I was a relatively new ARMY. I hadn't yet gotten a true feel for the member's personalities or the extent of their talents. So I was SHOCKED that Yoongi did this. It's a joke I see often that only JHope could get Yoongi to do this performance, sequin jackets and all. It was also the first time hearing both of them sing. I had heard JHope sort of sing in that not quite rap/not quite singing style that he does on some BTS songs, but this was the first time I had really heard him belt out those notes and have vibrato. (Please forgive me if I'm misusing any vocal terms, I'm not a singer). I have to say when he was singing in that part that you replayed ... my jaw was to the floor. It has become my happy song =). So it is the infamous "Dumpling incident"... we first heard it in 2020 in Friends, from that Tae and Jimin in 3 different occassion told the story to us with slight difference each time. It was during 2016, when Tae was shooting Hwarang, he was on edge because beside shooting the drama, he was practicing for their tour as well. One day Tae was hungry so he asked his manager to bring him dumpling, Jimin told him to finish the practice and eat with everyone else, but Tae was too hungry to wait for anybody. It set off their argument and they didn't speak to each other from anywhere between 2 hours to 2 weeks (each time Vmin told the story this 'not talking to each other ' period was different). But then Jimin went out with Yoongi for drink and Tae was waiting for Jimin in the park at 4 o'clock or anytime around that, a very drunk Jimin came back and told Tae that "you can not do this", and they made up. Based on the timeline, ARMY, realise it was a turbulent time for Vmin, because it was the time Tae started hanging out with his actor friends, a very young, slightly possessive Jimin was upset that Tae was spending more time with them than with Bangtan. A few members joking called Tae out for this, but for some reason Jimin was very upset ( Jimin's own word "I don't know why I am upset, but I am upset"). We don't know exactly what happened in the park, but Tae in one of his Vlive said this " and Jimin said he wants to be my strength, and I thought how can I fight with such an angel. His words set off arrows with emotions at my heart." One interpretation I have read is to do with the criticism they sometimes receive from fans - sometimes towards personal things, for instance some fans felt it was their place to criticize JK's decision to get tattoos, telling him to have them removed or not get any more. (Hard to understand why people might think they have ownership over them). Besides the incredible lyrics the melody of Jamais Vu moves in an unexpected way and is simply beautiful. I loved that last performance so much! (All of them, in fact, but...) It was so unexpected, funny and such chemistry! I mean...I don't think Suga can do that with anybody else than J-Hope. He needs to tap into that outgoing side of J-Hope so he can let loose too.

Otsukare is so fun. It is like singing a song from your granparents time, haha. And SUGA dancing like that is a pleasure to watch. There is a story about V and Jimin fighting over dumplings. Jamais Vu is beautiful. They look sooo good, but I got nervous about them singing and going up and down the stairs. I feel like they had to be extra careful to avoid some incident.

As a Hobi bias I am OBSESSED with Hobi's vocals and it's actually upsetting when people don't notice his beautiful vibrato. He doesn't really use it often because when he sings it's usually for humor. But when he does use it it makes me feel...a lot.

I really love Hobi's lyrics in Jamais Vu, talking about making mistakes on stage, feeling regretful and sad afterwards because he's supposed to give his all in every performance and make us army happy. They are so honest in this song, I just feel so grateful they feel comfortable sharing the not-so-bright parts of being an artist with us, and also that they still count on us to feel safe after showing us their not-so-bright moments.

I can see Army already told you about the dumpling incident. Jimin and V made up at a park and that's what inspired V to write his song 4'oclock with RM. There's a performance of that, if you could react to it too. It's no joke when Bang PD told the boys to write songs from their own life stories, because they all did. And amazingly at that.
The dumpling incident happened in 2016 I think and they basically fought over when they should eat. They didn't talk to each other for 2 weeks lol

While listening to these subunit songs together makes sense logistically, I did feel a bit bad for you for just the tonal whiplash haha. Friends is so sweet and got me melting in my feels, the Jamais Vu got me choked up and pondering deep thoughts, and then Respect is also a thinking song is what is the meaning exactly of respect, but it is such a bop I can't help but to groove to it. And Sope Otsukare will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. The OT7 version is good to, but I just love this one because I watched it when I was a relatively new ARMY. I hadn't yet gotten a true feel for the member's personalities or the extent of their talents. So I was SHOCKED that Yoongi did this. It's a joke I see often that only JHope could get Yoongi to do this performance, sequin jackets and all. It was also the first time hearing both of them sing. I had heard JHope sort of sing in that not quite rap/not quite singing style that he does on some BTS songs, but this was the first time I had really heard him belt out those notes and have vibrato. (Please forgive me if I'm misusing any vocal terms, I'm not a singer). I have to say when he was singing in that part that you replayed ... my jaw was to the floor. It has become my happy song =). So thank you again for your wonderful reaction and I look forward to an update on what you will do with your In the SOOP reactions, because I can't wait to see what you will think when you watch this calming show!

So it is the infamous "Dumpling incident"... we first heard it in 2020 in Friends, from that Tae and Jimin in 3 different occassion told the story to us with slight difference each time. It was during 2016, when Tae was shooting Hwarang, he was on edge because beside shooting the drama, he was practicing for their tour as well. One day Tae was hungry so he asked his manager to bring him dumpling, Jimin told him to finish the practice and eat with everyone else, but Tae was too hungry to wait for anybody. It set off their argument and they didn't speak to each other from anywhere between 2 hours to 2 weeks (each time Vmin told the story this 'not talking to each other ' period was different). But then Jimin went out with Yoongi for drink and Tae was waiting for Jimin in the park at 4 o'clock or anytime around that, a very drunk Jimin came back and told Tae that "you can not do this", and they made up. Based on the timeline, ARMY, realise it was a turbulent time for Vmin, because it was the time Tae started hanging out with his actor friends, a very young, slightly possessive Jimin was upset that Tae was spending more time with them than with Bangtan. A few members joking called Tae out for this, but for some reason Jimin was very upset ( Jimin's own word "I don't know why I am upset, but I am upset").
We don't know exactly what happened in the park, but Tae in one of his Vlive said this " and Jimin said he wants to be my strength, and I thought how can I fight with such an angel. His words set off arrows with emotions at my heart."
Fun fact: Tae have a song called 4 o'clock, it is the song inspired by the time he was waiting for Jimin at the park early in the morning.

No I wasn't okay when I watched Respect live, Yoongi's smile was cuteness overload and I'm honestly not sure how I survived it!!!🥰 Otsukare is always such a mood booster, it will be forever one of my favorite performances! This was such a fun reaction! V and Jimin have such a great relationship and history together. And the song is so sweet! Jamais Vu is such an underrated song. I LOVE Hobi’s part in this and I want more Jin and JK. I hope they do a duet together someday. Perhaps Jin should have stayed when he visited JK on his Birthday Weverse live and sang with him. I have so much respect for RM and Suga so it’s such a treat to see them perform together. Just like they talked about anger in Ugh, the word respect is being used so often now that its true meaning gets diluted. They sound so good together. I also love them in Agust D’s Strange.
I watch Otsukare when I’ve had a bad day. It just cheers me up. I wish the rapline would sing more because they certain can. Hobi has done so many hidden vocals and I love how much of his singing voice I hear in his Jack in the Box album. I love your reactions. You are such a lovely person. Jamais Vu is one of my favorite songs from the guys. One interpretation I have read is to do with the criticism they sometimes receive from fans - sometimes towards personal things, for instance some fans felt it was their place to criticize JK's decision to get tattoos, telling him to have them removed or not get any more. (Hard to understand why people might think they have ownership over them). Besides the incredible lyrics the melody of Jamais Vu moves in an unexpected way and is simply beautiful. Keep reacting - you do a great job.
