World Record attempt of the most aircraft to take off in 1 hour. This was taken at Dunkeswell Airfield, Devon, UK on 8/8/2015 with new record now standing at 100 aircraft.
Great event and a great video to capture it. Despite the wide range in aircraft, it all went very smoothly and safely. I think there was just enough organisation to allow things to run smoothly and allow pilots to make their own safety decisions and fly within their own limits and level of comfort. If we're going to have another attempt at it next year, then I'll definitely be there again in YAK ONE (YAK 52). I'd love to see the ground radar trace for the Dunkeswell area at around 15:00 onwards! It must have been very impressive.
Domwilko, I was talking to Cardiff Radar on the way home and they were warning people away and describing the radar picture as"It's like a bombburst of tracks there!"
It went smoothly without a problem, Aircraft are very fast in the air but on the ground they are like slugs and the poor guys in the 3 axis taildraggers cant see in front when they taxi, thats why they weave left to right. When we do it again next year, it would be best to have all the tail taildraggers line up on the runway first. Thats me at 26:20

some form of garman type real-time map overlay would be another astonishing over saturated (but cool) image
