I'm a sold fan man I bought the Orng sound pack and it fixed literally all the problems I've had with my Two Notes IR's. Also dl'd Mikki Cab Sim and it's amazing. AND THEN YOU MAKE A GUITAR HELL YEAH
Nice Job Mikko ! Good to see someone create his own guitar and put an evertune in it (I did it too on my channel :p ). Btw, I recently tested your amp models, they sound great !
Nice work guys!! That was fascinating to watch, especially the Evertune section. That finish is gorgeous. Could this be the basis of an ML Soundlab virtual instrument 😂? Stay safe :)
Question! It's been 3 years since the build obviously, I'm going to be building my own guitar shortly and have watched endless amounts of build projects here on TH-cam and everyone has varying approaches, particularly to finishing. My question being, did you get any shrink-back on the paint that has revealed some of the wood-grain beneath over time. Or did Janne do a pore-fill on the wood prior to the base-coat that just didn't make it into the video?
Honestly - that's the part where I wasn't filming so I'll have to check with Janne. The truth is there's a ton of sanding between every process and we just didn't want to make a video with 75% of the material is just sanding. :D
@@mlsoundlab yeah I just wanted be sure cause I did in past this process but saving time without any sanding process between each paint would have been great.
Lacquer melts into each layer. Sanding in between coats isn't really necessary. You can put all of your layers on when each dries. Level sanding between coats applies to polyurethane.
Mikko, the guitar is beautiful, it reminds me the JP6 which I honestply prefer to the Majesty. Do you know if your friend build the same guitar with floyd? Thanks a lot. P.S. and great color choice :-)
No, I don't really like floyds. I've made few guitars with schaller vintage tremolos and they are awesome, just like MM jp6 trem. Also the Ibanez Synchronizr is great but really hard to find...
@@mlsoundlab yeah I always wanted to build my own guitar but the neck really turned me off, because it requires you to be so precisely as well as a lot of tools and importing a warmoth neck to the EU is quite expensive. At least to Germany. Anyways your guitar looks killer and I dig the shape. Enjoy playing it!
Man, that teal going on looks so damn satisfying
It's an ML approved color scheme. ;)
Kiitos MIKKO! Especially for this but for your contributions to the modern day metal and guitar production!
Aww thank you so much Pablo.
That is killer.... the color man... wow.

Man this rules. Thanks so much for sharing.

Nice work.

Fantastic!! I love to watch it. :)
vvery cool man!!
Wow! Didn't realize an Evertune took out about as much wood as a trem!
It's even more I'm afraid :)
Butt of someone with smooth skin 😂😂😂. Mikko the champ
Words are like poems - they just come to me.
great! what is the power of your Einhell bend saw ??
Before epoxy , are u sanding filler on body before? thanks
Would love to have an ML sampled virtual djent guitar library 😉
Beautiful guitar 🤘🏻. What did you use under the bridge pickup for support since there is no wood under the pickup due to the Evertune?
Who will hook up what strap and pickups on the guitar?
No any sanding process between each paint?

Two primer coats were sanded smooth before the white color coat. You don't sand the color coats.. then 2K clear on top.
@@Ritolah Cheers buddy! Now go make me another guitar.

.. Btw the body shape is basically hybrid between jp6 and jp13 with different neck heel
sooo sick
what type of wood is it?
R E S P E C T Wow :)
what pickups are into it ? :)
DiMarzio Titans. :)
@@mlsoundlab Great choice I like di Marzio pickups too, have you ever tried the fusion edge ? :)
Is body from alder?
A chamfered edge.
The neck would scare me to build
Oh yes it's very different than building a body. You never realize the amount of work the small things require.

seems like fretboard is stupidly thick)))
That was my spec. :) More about it in the neck video. It's ebony so if you want better stability it's good to have it thick. :)
@@mlsoundlab slab of ebony Damn
Also someone is obviously an Ernie Ball JP Music Man fan......?
Thank god for ever tune, tuning a guitar is SOOOO exhausting!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️
