Versace doesn't feel like a cheapie brand. Eros is dropping down into the sub $50's too. The designer market feels like the disparity is increasing between affordable and ludicrous.
Fragrances are so divisive aren’t they. I personally think Versace smells and feels super sharp and cheap to my nose. I’ve tried about 50 brands and have given my two Versace away ultimately
Versace fragrances for the price point are very well put together though. Especially for people just starting out, and you get the satisfaction of being able to afford and own a product from a high end luxury brand.
@@FauxWockThat is true. Though, it is a weird dichotomy. Versace is a designer brand like Dior or Givenchy, but the latter two are getting more and more expensive, while Versace is normally selling fragrances at a much lower price point. In a way ‘cheapening’ the brand in my opinion. Aside from the fact that Dior and Givenchy are heritage brands and Versace is not, they can be put in the same ballpark, sort of. I am overthinking it too much, I know. But it is just weird.
@@balazs7235 in terms of finding versace at a discounted price, yes its cheaper and “cheapening” the brand. I can understand that, and also understand how smelling a wide range of scents can make versace smell cheap as well as a previous commenter stated, but in terms of retail, they retail over $100 so I couldn’t consider them cheap. We’ll see what happens with the new Eros Energy release. Im sure more people will be purchasing at retail instead of discounted
im so glad to see Versace Pour Home on the list, has been one of my goes to for many years now, and to this day i get compliments from girls and even guys asking what smell is that.
Ayyyy, he saw my comment! I was one of the ones that said Club Black! I bought this one around the time it was sold out everywhere and ran as fast I could when I found a bottle for under $40
Dylan Blue and Pour Homme are absolute bangers. Pour Homme was my introduction into the world of fragrances. Also, im glad you brought up the coach for men line in this video. I had the same take on Coach Green, although I really liked the dry down. Just blind bought Coach Platinum today as well, and Im glad I did
So Platinum is worth it, huh? I love Coach for Men and don't mind Coach Blue. Wasn't crazy about Green, but I didn't really stick around for the dry down...
@@unclejimmyray i had sprayed green on my skin, so I was kinda stuck with it the whole day, but just kept smelling it throughout, and came around to liking it. Definitely an acquired taste, or in this case, smell. Platinum has a pretty loud opening, very sweet, and citrusy. I believe its Pineapple and Juniper Berries. I wont hype it up too much tho, as it has a pretty classic/mediocre fresh clean scent to it, but it tickles the nose hairs just right that it isn’t something I can complain too much about. The dry down supposedly lacks character compared to the opening, but depends on the individual. I personally like it in its entirety. Ive been wanting to get OG coach, and I did find it but it was only 1.7floz, and the platinum was 2.0floz. So I pulled the trigger on platinum.
My most compliment fragrance has been angels share and Layton. I never do blind buys. I watch your videos and trust your judgment and hasn't failed me yet
Love Khamra Kawha, wore it on a date and my girlfriend absolutely hated it - said I smelled like a decorative holiday pinecone, and that it totally sabotaged my otherwise masculine appearance and personality. You know what? She was right, so I gave the stuff to my daughter, who loves it and puts it to great use. Also, I once got slammed by a woman when I was wearing Dylan Blue, she said I probably had no idea that I smelled like extremely powerful laundry detergent. Ouch. You know what? She was totally right, that's EXACTLY what it smells like. I never wear it anymore. Other brutally honest comments from women include how Missoni Wave smells like furniture polish and disposable kitchen wipes, and Bentley Intense smells like paint drying in your grandfather's closet, chokes people out of the room and makes them hate you (basically just a cheap Dior Fahrenheit and hated just as much). My point is that most guys have no idea how this stuff ACTUALLY smells to women when these women aren't on camera being asked about these fragrances. When women aren't playing along, they can be BRUTALLY honest.
Love the colognes you pick man. We have similar tastes. So many cologne/fragrance influencers love those spicy scents and man they are not for me. Hey which of the colognes you made would you recomments thats a fresh clean scent. My top two colognes are gucci guilty black, and chanel allure extreme sport. Also really like ocean nior micheal malul
It’s CRAZY how you can get explorer for so cheap today. It’s my daily signature scent because in Brazil almost no one uses it. Would still buy it if it was 100 bucks.
Just my opinion but Star Men Nebula smells like a $10 rack store fragrance to me and that opening is horrendous . Does get better in dry down , but I would not blind buy .
Im close to convinced now i got a bad batch of Artisan Pure. Mine smells so harsh and not smooth. It smells like orange chemical cleaner , its so sharp with orange it is the worst blind buy ever for me.
I like Legend Spirit, but I would agree with Legend EDP as my preferred "Legend" and personally I would but it in S tier, but I understand if othwers wouldn't. I have not smelled Legend Blue or Red yet though
I had so many Fragrance in my life but on me ... Explorer and CDNI gave my by far the most reactions out of people .. In the Winter time its Spicebomb Extrem or Guerlain lhomme ideal Parfume
Mercedez club black is backup bottle worthy along with salvatore ferragamo uomo signature. I bought 3 bottles of signature for $30 100 each. I gave my cousin as birthday 🎁.
Uomo signature is amazing.. one of my favs I bought it and Halloween man x.. people saying they are similar.. I disagree.. Halloween is not bad but signature is a thousand times better
It has a plenty smell that gives me a headache. Would like to know what it is so i can avoid it. Stuff like aqua di gio doesnt bother me, but usually anyrhing "green" gives me headaches
I have over 100 bottles and 100 decants and Bentley for Men Intense is by far the most garbage, awful smelling fragrance I've ever smelled. I literally could NOT even give it away. Had 4 or 5 friends smell it and they all thought it was gross and awful. It finally went in the trash. The hype is NOT real with BFMI
Ironic that Mercedes Benz fragrances are 'cheap.' The only MB that is cheap. The same with Ferrari and Bentley. Expensive cars, cheap fragrances. Some bad smellers, too.
All my stuff is under $50. I gave Nebula to the friend, who does not like it either. Pure Garbage of fragrance. My top is Bentley Intense, Turathi Blue, Lalique Lion, Exclusif Tabac, Rasasi Hawas. All others are optional. Recreational. "Let's try something different". Mentioned 5 are "Must have" for me (and I have double bottles of each). Just in the case.
I mean what is considered the best or worst is all relative. People like different scents. So how would one really rank it based on anything other than personal opinion?
If I had to make this video I would have pointed out that these "community selections" about 200 times more than you did. I think they are an embarrassing list and I own half of them among my many other inexpensive frags. Haven't tried that Club Black which I see people in the comments like.

Eros smells cheap as well, evens out
I was getting ready to question your sanity after seeing the thumbnail and Club Black in B Tier. Well played, it's the definition of S Tier
How about a top ten barber shop fragrances? Or a top ten vetiver fragrances?
