I'm thinking of what could've been, if i had just tried harder to pursue my international student application. I would've probably had the same routine or what not. I only got wait listed for Yale as an undergrad (so I went to a small liberal arts college up in Massachusetts instead for my Bachelor's), but I did get into Yale for grad school. 👍 Like Iggy, I tell the life story........😂 So, I NEVER got the privilege of living on Old Campus (and Branford is DEFINITELY the MOST beautiful of the undergraduate residential colleges and I would have ❤️'d living there) but I lived in the Crown Street Townhouses (grad student specific housing), which was over near Yale Rep and the Art Galleries & the School of Drama at the corner of York & Crown streets. It wasn't as beautiful as Old Campus, but it was still a great central location to be in. I'd ALWAYS been fascinated by Yale's campus my whole life (I grew up in NYC) and your vlog brought back a lot of Yale memories of my three years up there in New Haven, so thank you for that. Yale is a VERY special and interesting place, so full of intellectual vibrancy, so thank you for sharing your experience. I know I ❤️'d my three years there. Best of luck in all you do. 👍✌️
How Stately Yale College looks now. I went to the Home Depot to find out if they have coat hooks just as bad; commercially, and those were so cheap that I had to go middle-of-the-road, and so now it looks like I have designer hooks in my HISTORIC HOUSE. After I stop at the Alumni House on York Street, I'll go to the City Hall on Church Street, and I have two questions: 1) Why does my house not have a plaque; and 2) Why isn't there a plaque on the secret society on High Street? Backing up to the Dining Commons. Food is the most social thing you can do, and we had circular tables. She says, ROTISSERE CHICKEN, one of the local grocery specialties, but I don't buy it because it has the fat taken out; and then, she has her friends (all big guys.) If you want to do me one favor, John Ulrich II was such a student in PSYCHOLOGY and he seemed happy to differ medically from Margaret Trinity when I came out of the post office, I said, "I think that's Berkley across the street." You don't want regular people who frequent the post office to memorize the names of the colleges on the streetside do you Margie?? It's a win, because even if my aphasia bothered her, she was out of her element when adding in the emotional driver. It was such a different experience at Yale, and if I had anything else I would go to it, but. . . . YALE IS A TERRIBLE SHOOL. THEY WORK YOU SO HARD THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK EXCEPT MANUAL, AND THIS ISN'T THE WAY TO ADDRESS THE DISAPPEARANCE OF THOSE JOBS. YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE TIME TO LEARN THINGS YOU AREN'T GOING TO USE, AND IF YOU ALREADY DON'T USE THEM. . . This is as good as it gets Jacob. You look like a royal bastard to me, and so all of you have anxiety, but just like it's diabetes to end diabetes, it's anxiety like you never witnessed before (unless your Asian and it came to you in your sleep.) I'm in the process applying to Yale right now and I'm so nervous and excited at the same time! I have a question for you: my cumalitve GPA in my bachelor's was a 4.0 but the school transferred classes from my first semester of community college back in 2014 when I was in my first semester of college ever. This turned my GPA into a 3.7 (even though it says on the top of my transcript 4.0) so I'm wondering if those C-grade classes that somehow made their way onto my transcript from community college will give me an issue?
