Tata? More like VW Skoda. 5 star rated Taigun Kushaq and Slavia Virtus against a 3 star rated Creta or Verna isn't a good image and Hyundai is aware of that.

It takes years of planning, design, execution to make one car. No one is forced by anyone. And if you think Tata has anything to do with Hyundai and Maruti making cars stronger, it is outright hilarious and laughable. High strength steel, effect of NCAP ratings, crumble zones, stricter norms is UK, Aus and Korea and primary reasons. First study global markets and then comment. Stop spreading nonsense in the name of fake patriotism. We all love our country but give credit where it is due.

I conduct sessions about product design, I know my stuff. South Korean companies have very PESSIMISTIC approach, they have been fined many billion dollars in US/UK in the past because of UNSAFE & UNFAIR practices.

I don't think any car will get less than 4 star in BNCAP
Best comparison will be Elevate ZX MT 1.5 vs Seltos HTX 1.5 vs Creta SX 1.5 priced almost similar around 15lk ex-showroom.
That comparison will never happen because Elevate is a much better packsge

I own verna fuldic 1.6 CRDI , clocked 200000km , now it is my secondary car. Hyundai diesal engine is a gem. My new car is Taigun bought in jan 2023 with huge discounts, didn't even consided creta at that time because of safety ratings.
In Hyundai break issue is there, on rumble strips if you apply break abs system gets confused and break fails confused. Faced it in multiple hyundai cars. I dont know if this problem is resolved.

Turbo petrol engine hai to shaandaar par koi khareedta nahi. (below 4% sales hai of Turbo petrol variants)
23-24L mein log doosre options explore karne lagte hain.
NA petrol hi sabse zyada bikta hai.
Hyundai ke engines kaafi achhe aur refined hote hain waise.
Please bring a comparison video with currently available 1.5L NA Engine options i.e.-
- Creta/Seltos
- Honda Elevate
- Maruti Suzuki
- MG Astor
Of the above, Suzuki engines are least exciting on paper specs but they are also coupled with Smart Hybrid tech so real-time performance is a different story.
The lack in power is intentional to derive better fuel economy than the competitors.
Honda VTec engines will probably be the winner amongst all.
Honda engines are tuned for performance while Suzuki for fuel efficiency.
But a fair comparison video of the above options with comparison of engine performance, driving dynamics and fuel efficiency is requested.

What is the use of such cars since S Variant do not come in IVT. Why is there no automatic transmission in such variants? This is a big miss by Car companies. Automatic Transmission is a basic necessity these days. What about a person who wants all functional features without a sunroof? A person buying an automatic transmission variant forcefully needs to buy a sunroof variant! This is simply unacceptable. Only Toyota or Tata understand this funda and they give Automatic variants without sunroof. Korean Car manufacturers force the sunroof on an automatic variant!
