Though I was only able to carry enough resources to build a single corridor, if you can catch the prawn or cyclops, you could use them to transport items down there.

According to the wiki, the Hull Reinforcement Modules only affect *collision* damage on the Seamoth/Prawn Suit. As per the wiki word for word, “The Prawn Suit does not take collision damage, rendering this upgrade useless for it.” So I don’t believe it would affect the damage received from going past crush depth, though I think a better answer would be found via direct testing. Something ive learned from my own playthroughs. Without the seaglide you can escape a crashfish by doing a double back to where it spawned and if done right escape all damage.
I kinda wish they actually did just render a floor to the void that went on forever, having it being endless, and worse still just teleporting you back at a certain depth really breaks the immersion that the void is just what the ocean covering the rest of the planet is like which is what the game tries to tell you.
The Hull Reinforcement is an upgrade module that can be crafted in the Vehicle Upgrade Console. It is available in Subnautica only, not in Below Zero. This upgrade provides the Seamoth and the Prawn Suit with a system that preemptively hardens the vehicle chassis prior to collisions with terrain, eliminating damage under normal conditions. @@TheLastBacon Amnesia is like an OG on yt. Made Lets Plays popular. Plus its a dang good game. Still scary. Love your videos. Just the amnesia ost drew me out of lurking to comment xD
Theres a way of making the ghost leviathans stop spawning. Once you reach the bottom of the physical map, you can go under it and basically go "out of the void" and be considered to be in a different biome. Then you can just keep going down and only worry about crush depths. I used this to take the cyclops down to the teleport point of 8143m
I had a similar thought when I was wrapping my hardcore playthrough, but instead of breaking the prawn suit I wanted to make it out with my vehicle, so I planned to craft a lot of ion power cells for cyclops and just descend while the shield module is active and chews through power however, I once dared to use the repulsion cannon near the cyclops and my wall-mounted closets full of power cells flew away and despawned, so I never executed this plan lol
reminds me of when speedy did that with a old bug that allowed you to use some tools inside vehicyles. And the slope I used to survive my first dragon encounter was way smaller.
There is a bug where you can get into a vehicle with your tool equiped, so you could have your repair tool with an ion battery in hand and repair the prawn from the inside. That way you could get there without a drop of sweat
its been a while since I watched one of your videos, and you still reply to every comment on your channel even though you have over 200k subs now. That's what I call dedication! 💪
I would think that taking a fully depth-upgraded Cyclops with a docked prawn would be better. Hopefully the cyclops would go quite a bit before it broke, and then you jump in the prawn right before it breaks, and you ride the prawn the rest of the way down. At the very least should get you closer before the prawn breaks, too
Man this game lets you try so many things :D It'd take more resource management, but could you potentially build a fully depth-modded Cyclops with a fully depth-modded Prawn in the bay, pilot that down as deep as possible, then just before the Cyclops is destroyed, jump in the Prawn? The Prawn shouldn't have taken damage while in the bay, so you could get much deeper with it.
I’ve done this a bit easier but writes off a pile of equipment. Cyclops with all the depth upgrades. Drive outside of the void biome and dive dive dive dive until then cyclops is about to collapse on itself. As it’s about to implode, eject in your prawn suit with all the depth upgrades. Your speed of decent will be so fast no ghostie will be able to catch you. And assuming the game memory can’t catch up, I’ve dropped through the safe shallows at the same speed before it loaded, down to the active lava zone and back outside the playable area where I think your prawn suit at that decent speed can only endure one more crush depth run. But by that time, the world loads and you will finally stop in the shallows with no more cyclops or prawn suit
Did you know? When actual scuba divers are below 4096 meters and they need to surface, they swim deeper until they are teleported back.

I like how it's possible to have a negative number as your depth. But its only possible when you get teleported back up
Lol nice :)
@@TheLastBacon they should've added achievements. I've got a couple ideas for some
OUT WITH ANOTHER BANGER 🔥🔥🔥
Yay :)
Was literally watching one of your videos AS you uploaded this.
Oh that’s perfect thank you :)
Literally perfect upload timing, also video was a classic bacon banger.
A man of class
Loving the Amnesia music
Eyyy love that you recognized it :)
@@TheLastBacon Amnesia is like an OG on yt. Made Lets Plays popular. Plus its a dang good game. Still scary.
Love your videos. Just the amnesia ost drew me out of lurking to comment xD
„I see stuff to scan and i have to scan it 4:33“
Just good game design, it feels good to scan it and wrong to ignore it
So yeah you are right xD
Absolutely :)
Yeah true I just wanted to stay in the void for the challenge :)
Great video tho. Always good seeing people find ways to make subnautica entertaining until subnautica 2
I had a similar thought when I was wrapping my hardcore playthrough, but instead of breaking the prawn suit I wanted to make it out with my vehicle, so I planned to craft a lot of ion power cells for cyclops and just descend while the shield module is active and chews through power
however, I once dared to use the repulsion cannon near the cyclops and my wall-mounted closets full of power cells flew away and despawned, so I never executed this plan lol
Oh dang that’s really unfortunate :(
reminds me of when speedy did that with a old bug that allowed you to use some tools inside vehicyles. And the slope I used to survive my first dragon encounter was way smaller.
Yep good times! :)
Great video idea! Hope you had fun making it
I had a really good time :)
There is a bug where you can get into a vehicle with your tool equiped, so you could have your repair tool with an ion battery in hand and repair the prawn from the inside. That way you could get there without a drop of sweat
I don’t think that works in 2.0 anymore right? :)
6:59 That's indeed very relaxing
Right! :)
its been a while since I watched one of your videos, and you still reply to every comment on your channel even though you have over 200k subs now. That's what I call dedication! 💪
I still try to get as many as I can :)
I would think that taking a fully depth-upgraded Cyclops with a docked prawn would be better. Hopefully the cyclops would go quite a bit before it broke, and then you jump in the prawn right before it breaks, and you ride the prawn the rest of the way down. At the very least should get you closer before the prawn breaks, too
That does sound like an awesome strategy :)
Can't wait for the new Void% RTA
Actually could be fun :D
Hello, I watched all your videos and loved them ❤
Thank you so much :)
Nice video, really enjoyed it
Thank you so much :)
Amnesia music could make a trip to the supermarket unsettling
Absolutely :)
I think that might work! :)
Love that strategy! Will definitely try :)
Bros gonna have an absolute field day with content when subnautica 2 comes out
Hope so :)
