Hey man i went down to smith river right below Philpot dam. fished for 2 hours up and down stream - used several spinners, creek bugs with ballheads, used some trout marshmallows - even used some top water baits. Not even a bite! trout were hitting the tops of the water all around me but wouldn't touch anything I had out there, Any idea as to what's going on?
🎣 nicely well done with the catching and nicely well done with the releasing as well. I'm still waiting for the rain here in Pennsylvania. almost everything is pretty much dried up, we need the rain badly.
Thanks for watching everyone!
You're very welcome here
Great video as usual.
Thanks 🎣
Get'em before the freeze
🎣
great tip on the color to use, i caught some today, but had to keep changing colors, low water and clear makes it tuff sometimes
It can be tough for sure.
Do you jig fish in lakes or ponds?
Yeap
Have tou e er had any luck with glow color at night time?

Some days, they get in a mood and won't bite. Sounds like some insects was hat hinge or landing on the water and they were very keyed in on them
How often do you get hung up and break off?
Not too often

Thanks and I'm hoping, I know these farmers can use the rain too
